Well, if you're the type of gamer who can stomach tab-targeting, uber-grindfest themeparks where everyone of a certain class and level looks and fights exactly the same as all others (hey South Korea, I love your Kimchi but please stop making grindgames)....
You might enjoy Scarlet Blade. It has a unique setting, some interesting gameplay elements, PVP is kinda cool and it has a ton of sex appeal.
As for me, I'd prefer a free-aim, highly customisable sandbox game with a ton of sex appeal.
But I suppose there's no such thing

totally offtopic:
just wondering how do you review a incomplete(beta) product? Its like tasting a half baked cake and going "It's shit" and throwing it away...
Actually it's like tasting a oreo biscuits and oreo cream at a decent interval of time and then state what an oreo cookie would taste like.
It's only beta in terms of English language. I really don't expect them to change it much for Western audiences tastes, as it's a finished game already, right?
A software in its beta phase should be a less polished version of the final product, so generally you can judge a game by its beta quite well. Of course, betas are allowed to be buggy, poorly animated, etc., but they should include all the major features of your game.
That's why it could be argued games like Firefall and Path of Exile did beta testing wrong. Their "betas" were actually more similar to what is generally called an alpha version - a WIP game that lacks many of its features.
Also totally off-topic:
Were I in the copper-age middle east, watching a guy make a square wheel, I'd still review it fairly, providing a balanced list of pros and cons, despite his protestations that it was a beta. And perhaps I'd tell other people about it, acknowledging of course that it's a beta, not a finished product.
The cake analogy is false. Games are not baked. Also, if cake mixes are yummy, half-baked cakes are probably also yummy.
Such a shame we're still living in the beta version of democracy, don't you think?
Well it seems we have a different understanding on what a beta is. For me a beta part of the deveopment process when the main systems are almost working as intended but the game still doesn't have all the bells and whistles attached. Something like FFXIV is a beta, things work but not everthing is available yet. Or Firefall, thats a beta too. A game in ready state that is in "beta" is more of a free demo or publicity thing than testing.
But thats my deffinition of a beta and I'm not going to argue about it. So peace out and stuff.
PS! Sorry for derailing your topic.
You can't have your own definition of the beta phase, because it's a predefined phase of the software development cycle.

"Feature complete" is the key phrase here. Firefall is far from feature complete, so calling its current state a beta is a bit off.
I played a few hours today to check out it out.
As a game, it's about on par with the many mediocre F2P games already out there. If you like (mostly) Asian F2P titles, then you might be a gamer who could enjoy the game play.
So, if it's really just another mediocre F2P MMO, what about the "sex sells" hook? Well, I think they failed there as well. With the exception of the young looking Sentinels , (they are a sort of a half woman, half child hybrid), all the other classes share the same body type, which has huge breasts, meaty appendages, super wide hips and buttocks. If that's your type and you think you might enjoy the cheap thrills the game offers, go for it. For me, the body type isn't appealing, the lack of any variety seems idiotic and while the armors are certainly revealing, they are mostly ugly and unappealing. If sexy is going to be your distinguishing factor, you might want to appeal to a much broader range of what people actually find to be sexy.
IMO, if you want reasonably good game play and sexy, scantily clad characters, play TERA instead. It's F2P now and I always said it would be a game worth playing with out the subscription fee, well now you can. Less skin than SB and no officially supported nudity, but I find the character models and armors in TERA to be much more appealing than what this game has to offer.
Sex does sell and I'm sure someday there will be a breakout MMO that is a quality product and also successfully appeals to people's purient interests. For most people, however, this isn't even close to being that game.

I had a go at this and was quite surprised to find a reasonably enjoyable game under all the glamour and fake boobs. Nothing earth shattering but it was fun.
One thing I wasn't impressed with at all was the stealth installation of some program called something like Akamai net session something or other. I noticed 2 instances of net_session.exe running in the task manager every time I booted up. When I stopped them and started SB they reappeared. When I took them out of the startup of windows the game wouldn't launch.
Call me paranoid but I hate it when a game installs some seperate piece of software that I have no knowledge of and no idea what it's doing in the background. I do know that the traffic light on my cable modem was on permanently, which is why I looked in task manager in the first place. Whatever this software is, it was using my bandwidth to do something.
As soon as I spotted this (took me a couple of days to notice) I uninstalled the game, and had to uninstall the other program as well, as it wasn't part of SB.
You install wierd shit on my PC, you get deleted. I won't be playing any Aeria games in the future if they are going to install ninja software on my PC, which is a shame really. SB could have been a fun game to jump on for an hour or so if you were bored and had nothing else to do.
u naughty little boy
I agree with fiontar, except that the Sentinels are sexy - little girls?? Huh?
Aaaaaanyways, TERA is a better game, but less hip-to-waist excess and jiggle. Combat is much more fun, but I can't play TERA anymore, like I won't play Scarlet Blade.
Here's why:
"Go to place X and kill 20 of enemy Y" then "Go to place W and kill 20 of enemy Z" ad nauseum
Get it?
