account not recognised

Hello

I just created a Trion account after purchasing Defiance. Upon authenticating my email address and trying to log back in to the account or game its saying details not recognised.

Does anyone have any simular experience they can offer advise on please as what to do? I am typing in the correct details I made the account with.

    The best help I can get you. Since I have no issues at all logging in. I both have Rift and now Defiance. And never had this issue at Trion.

    I had similar problems but noticed it was due to the serverbeing offline. Perhaps that might be it?

    Even just did a succesfull PW change, and it says not recognised..

    when i try to log in it says my account isnt entitled to play. I went to the support section of Trion's site and it says to apply all codes to the account and if that doesnt fix it then to reset your account password.

    I did all that, have reset my password 3 times already and still cant log in, and not even my password registers as changed (i got the email saying it changed succesfully but it stills uses the old one instead). Something is wrong with them.

    The issue is well known and wide-spread, TRION messed up big time and is doing absolutely nothing about it. Even my retailer was the first to answer (saying he needed to contact his distributor about this, read TRION), still nothing from TRION :)

    Well, Its 10 hours since Defiance launched in EU.

     

    I believe, that if there's more than this guy that has this problem (which probably is the case according to the link), my guess would be they use more manpower on fixing these problems than to answer the same question 100+ players makes thickets about.

     

    Would you rather want a fast answer or a "As fast as possible" solution?

     

    This is not Blizzard. No company is as big as Blizzard, and therefore it is also slower than Blizzard of course.

     

    I could play fine at launch (0.00). I never could in another launch, and I tried WoW, WAR Online, SWToR, GW2, and more.

    I like your spirit TRION fan, but I dont need their answer at all if I can login to the game I fing payed for, which I cant, which makes me sad. 

    You realise, youre not the only person playing MMORPGs and I have too, in fact, been around since UO and WoW beta and played since launch, and if the perforamnce wasnt oh so great (which frankly was good enough), I could surely log into the game :S OR atleast download the fing game :S looking forward to wasting a couple of hours on downloading 10gb when they actually let me in :S

    UPDATE...

     

    Changing your password fixes the "not entitled to play" issue. You just have to make sure your account registers the new changed password. I changed my password 3 times and still couldnt use the new password (the old one was still active).... after about 30 minutes tried again and changed the password (to the same one i was trying to change before) and now it registered the new password and now i can login to the client. Updating the launcher now.

    hope this helps. Need some patience

    It doesnt change anything, if you have the wrong key. There was supposed to be 2 keys - one for bonuses, second actual game. PUBLISHER somehow messed this up and only sent 1 key (i have received the bonus key). My retailer just told me that I will have the second key during the day.
