I heard they fixed the bugs and improved the game, can anyone verify?

It's on steam greenlight now for 15 bucks... is it worth it?

It's the most fun I've had in any game for years but makes my system(s) freeze. I thought it was my comp so I switched to my other and it had the same problem. I noticed other people mentioning the same thing in the chat channels in-game. Locking up both my computers to where I have to do a hard shutdown is unacceptable on any day.
