Anyone playing Darkfall: UW on launch day and want to hang with a couple of buddies who have preordered and played the beta as well, we have our own Teamspeak and are looking for people to play it with at launch tommorow! We are part of a gaming network looking for more people to come and chill with us and come play, talk MMORPGs, technology, etc. We use Teamspeak 3 and you are free to come on and play with us and join us in our adventures. The info is 207.7.149.207:9995 on TS3. We don't only play Darkfall but have been around for almost a year and a half and love to talk gaming, technology, etc. Come join us!

am thinking about buying it on the next hour or two could you give some information about the game in general
Just go to the website and read up. It's a completely massive, seamless, open-world PvP mmorpg.

Just some history on the company and what you can expect - they may have gotten "slightly" better but still a long ways to go, for example during beta it took 4 months to just get the final class in (all are still missing half their schools)

*** If you read both of those threads and ignore the bickering in there (yes I said some dumb things also but we all do) and still interested and want to give it a whirl - you should and I hope you enjoy it. I personally will not be playing; but you may love it.

What up - what is your IGN for DF - just curious? If you read my post very closely I gave him 2 pieces of information and admitted I made some bad comments I probably should not have. But he gets a 100% accurate history of the company on how they handled the first game and then 100% factual information from Mr. White. Then if he decides to buy it I wish him well and hope he enjoys it and has a fun time...
BTW I would not call it "launch" yet if you want to get into that since they passed that time....

Wrong, there's still the patching process since AV failed to get it out beforehand. FAIL! Its another repeat of the DFUW beta launch, you'll be lucky to play in the next few hours.

I wouldn't. If you are interested you should play now. Watch some videos, there are lots, and that should tell you all you need to know about game. If you wait, everyone will have the upper hand and you will be a sheep until you become pvp viable.

According to all of you it only takes a few weeks to become pvp-viable. Then if he finds a good clan - boom in a few weeks he is pvp viable and does not miss out. At least according to all of you with the new system.
He'd still be a sheep even if he stated today as he'd be compeating with people that have 5+ months experience
NIce try, but its funny you say how fast you become PvP viable yet spout things like the above.

Would be a good laugh - but hey you have to admit that contradicts all what you guys have been saying. No start now or you will be too far behind - YET other threads you say it only takes a few weeks to become viable so no big deal... Come on now get one consistent story out there.
It's just rationale, if you let everyone have a month headstart on you everyone will be able to merk you for all your goods for a couple weeks where as at launch you're relatively even. He said Trial... so everyone is going to have a year head start? Seems silly
