...is astronomical
Neverwinter itself holds 150 people, and there are over 50 instances of it.
The late teens zone, tower district, has well over 2k people in it
Not to mention all the people in the foundry and dungeons and skirmishes
The average MMO server holds around 2500 people, these have to have over 20k on them
Of course the zone caps are small so you end up with 100 different instances, but there is an insane amount of people trying this game right now

Is that true?
I'm not saying it isn't.. I don't pay much attention to that kind of thing really. Just seems kinda low. But I do know that WoW servers hold well over 100,000.
WoW servers hold between 2500 and 3000. At least they used too, might be more now but certainly not 100,000. there isnt enough real estate to fit that many players.
Well realmpop says the most popular US server has 213,058 players. At least 50% of them must be on at the same time sometimes surely.
that site is characters not players.. most everyone has a lot more that 1 character..
"Who - It's important to remember that we're simply counting the number of characters seen for each category. This does not mean the number of players, nor the number of actively played characters. We can't efficiently get activity data yet, so some characters may not have been played for a long time."
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
Ah right. I see now, thanks.
