My most memorable pvp moment.

So There I was heading into cherynoble with no gun, no beans, water etc. I was reading in chat that a church, a supposed haven using honor rules, was being attacked by bandits. The gunshots i heard were very far off, so I had hoped it was not the church I was close to. So I walk in and there is a pile of player corpses right at the alter, and I could here the gunshots coming closer. Things were not looking good, and that's when it hit me, hide. So I lied down in the pile of corpses and crossed my fingers.  I saw a player run in to the church, a survivor, then take shots and fall down dead. Followed by two bandits they ran around looting the church as I lay there hoping not to be seen.  They looted then left the church, I wiped my brow.

I was telling this story to a coworker, and the look on his face was priceless.  I will try and put it in words " That's your most memorable pvp moment, but you did not even kill anyone." I still was without a gun, lol. My point was pvp is not about bragging rights but more about how fun it is.This is one of the many stories in Dayz, it is truly an amazing concept.

I am a fan of open world full loot pvp, and permadeath, but not so much in fps games. Because it is one of the most immersive styles of gaming that can be found. I firmly believe that if done right would would ease the burden on developers to produce content in rpg style mmos. And provide a fun and exciting place for players.

Gratz to Eve for being one of the only progression based games to be able to do this right for a decade. And here's hoping that you can take what you've learned while applying it to WOD.

Oh ya, Dayz wins my vote for best persistent world too, I remember coming across a base of barbed wire, sand bags, tents, vehicles and more. There I lay on my belly broadcasting in chat about the base I found. Then I was dead.

Thats indeed a nice survival story very nice indeed.

I had my moment last year.

Was running from my spawn place at beach inland i thought fuck it ill see how far i come so i found me a axe in barn inland and north of malievka i see chopper crash, i crouch towards chopper start seeking loot suddenly i hear cars stopping and alot of fire at me from some distance they hit me but i still could reach bushes near chopper.

Then i bandage and run little further into woods hide in a bush one player pass me i had only axe saw blurry but i got up and sneak behind him and axe him to death he still had a sniper DMR in is hand but it was difficult for him to hit me at close range so he shoot ones but missed.

I looted fast his DRM with 6 clips and nvgoggles and run away my day was good happy ending:)
