AD Exploit reminds me of Diablo 2(And LOD Expansion)

With all the talk of the Astral Diamond Exploit I am suddenly reminded of the hacks and exploits on the Battle.Net servers for Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction Expansion. In my opinion Diablo 2 will go down in the history books as the most hacked and exploited online game ever. To make matters worse the only thing Blizzard did to fix it was fire 1/3rd of the Battle.Net Employees(who later formed ArenaNet).
"Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But many of us have chosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future, then what sort of future is it, and what will we have become? There is no future for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped with blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"
