amazing game ruined by poor business practices.

The game has so much going for it, from a decent visual engine to a lot of interesting skills to level up  to "earning" money.

But their business practices are complete bullshit. The only way to make any money is sweating which at max skills rate yeilds 3 bucks an hour ish.

Want to hunt? Pay money. No other choice. You cant use your fists to fight unless you spend money because nobody has ever heard of fist fighting. So there is no way to level up hunting without spending money even shittily

Mining? Impossible to train mining not even crappy scanners.

The only way this game would be playable and decent is if all those crappy training items you get during the tutorial missions were perminant. They suck for damage, they suck for searching, they suck for everything but you're not stuck trying to suck sweat out of a creature as a starter for about 3 cents an hour.

Stupid business practices ruins an interesting game concept.

lemme ask you one thing then. If making money was easy in this game, how do you think MindArk would be making money? Unlike most other games there is no subscription.

Not to mention you can also pull out money from the game at the minimum of 1000 PEDs per withdrawal (10 PEDs = 1 USD ). It is a harsh game to get into but ask around back when I gave it a try (and managed to get gear and other stuff before burning out by not having people to play with) someone eventually showed me a better sweating spot than the one all the noobs are at, you get sweat (or used to at least) at around 3-4 times higher rates than at the noob area but it is a dangerous trek to get there.

Feel your pain. It's not quite that bad in the game I just left but it's pretty bad. The limiting of currency or loot in any game is criminal imo.
