Any new MMOs out there?

I just quit WoW, found it kinda boring. I didn't like the overly simple character options and I found it mundane, average, boring, etc. Not much innovation, stale. Anyways, I played Shadowbane for a while and played Planetside in beta and during release for a while. I'm thinking about trying DAOC (I tried the free trial before, but only for one day) maybe going back to Planetside. Shadowbane is dead so I'm not going back to that. But, I'd like to try something new maybe. Any good games in beta testing?

    Oh, and if there is someone out there that could tell me what the current population is for Planetside or DAOC I'd be grateful. And besides beta, are there any good games out there that have been released but that I've missed? Thanks :)

    In terms of GOOD MMO's, I highly recommend RYL: Path of the Emperor. This game is very challenging & interesting. You could try their 14 days free trial or $5 CD that comes with free 30 days of playtime. image

    Yeah ryl pote is pretty fun... tho the service sucks for the moment (normally it rocks)

     

    I'm playing a korean open beta untill the english open beta comes of RAKION , very fun game , no boring grind or something , really new kind of mmorpg

    yea.. i must agree to both of them.. ryl is indeed a very nice game.. and im waiting for rakion ( eng version ) to come out too.

    its the asian server for neocron2, currently in closed beta, but registration is currently up. a highly complicated mmofps / rpg game... a typical fps game where u can level. if ur playing, make sure u ask for help.. or search for forums and read first before u creat ur char, or u'll just wind up remaking another 1 =(    * i've actually spent more time reading the forum den actually playing the game for the first week ;) *

    too bad the NC2 asia beta is total fubar . the server is bad for ppl from europe and its total empty.

    the forum on the nc2 site is dead, seems like a bad launched beta.

    really strange that the server is so bad , been playing other asia mmorpg and they work pretty good even if you have quite high ping time . but this take the price.

    I agree on posters opinions. Found wow to be the same. Darkfall has been the most intriguing game Ive ever layed eyes on. But no date on open beta at the moment. They testing is within now.

    Closed beta?? So we can't join and play the game????

    Gate To Heaven nothin really that i found good about this one, Bad gfxs. http://www.gth.com.my/
    Xiah has a weird control set-up, its built like it was for a controler. But game play is fun and alwas changing http://asia.xiah.co.kr/

    All of these are in there free open beta last I new.... Their are all worth the time to try them, I still play Kal even after i got Guildwars (a.k.a the greatest corpg ever). Hope that these are fun for ya.
