Wicked... so reminded me of EQ1. The skelly was perfect and would have loved to see a death like the one from EQ1 with the click of bones as they fall in a pile. The Orcs short legs and over sized upper body also worked really well and carried through with the movement animations. Really impressed for not even being in beta.
Great video, hopefully things have gotten even better over time. While I know a lot of people are against the huge shoulder stuff, the animations made it work perfectly for me.
Not liking the proportions especially with those tiny legs.. but over all, it might as well be the below image in HD
The proportions match a Warhammer Ork more then they do a Warcraft Orc. Although if you look at Everquest 1 orcs the proportions are pretty spot on. Just because he is bulky and green doesn't automatically equate him to being a warcraft orc.
So I know this is a little off-topic, but I figured it had to do with the skeleton in the video so my might as well ask. Has anybody ever stopped and ask them selves how in the world skeletons of Norrath can laugh, let alone make noise?

How do ghosts, liches, wraiths, and other forms of undead talk in every paranormal and fantasy media?

Or how in Warhammer (table top), EQ, and other games you can poison skeletons etc....Just the way things are pretty much.
I got some good laughs out of my Necro's skele, so glad they can make noise.

Haha, some one just needs to write lore for all of this , but no I'm not complaining it's just one of those things my mind wandered off and questioned and has questioned since early EQ. On the other hand if the skelly laugh isn't in EQN blood shall be spilt >;)

Chests? I remember pouches.

It is 2 years old and from the leaked eq next reel video. The video also has a human and skeleton in it, it has sound and animation.
Nice!
Animations looked great already back then. Can only imagine that they have been polished to perfection today.
One thing that I do miss though, is the skeleton giggles from EQ1...

BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.

Correct, there's no way of knowing if the models even look the same still.
At this point I will take what the dev team had for lunch last year as new info. I dont want to wish away my summer but I cant wait till Aug!!!
No kidding, I posted the video up for those that were let down with E3 as much as me.
SoE could have only shown a picture of artwork and I would have been happy. lol

Reminds me of a gorilla modded into an Orc.

Looks good,looks like an orc..
the proportions are similar to the orcs in EQ1.
Chests? I remember pouches.
The original EQ orcs had disproportionate legs.
