Important news about your PS3 (don't update the firmware yet)

Normally I don't report on gaming news but in this case I think it needs to be known (apologies if this has already been reported)

According to Kotaku if you update your PS3 to the new firm ware there is a chance it could brick the entire system but so as long s you don't accept the update you are fine.

Now in the post it states they are looking into it but it doesn't appear they have a fix yet  i'd suggest until they do just don't accept the update at all. Better to wait and let them fix it first.
