Steal skill?

in Final Fantasy XIV
Seems like LOTRO, RO, FFXI, and UO were the only mmos to ever get the steal skill right. Is the steal skill back in FFXIV?

    But I dont think there is a rogue or thief class in ff14.  None of them seem to fit.

    There is no steal skill, nor a thief class or job. Maybe they will release one after launch, I can see it being pugilist/gladiator or archer requirements

    Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

    The only online game I ever played where a steal skill proved useful was Runescape. Stealing cakes in Runescape was quite a bit of fun. Nothing in FF14 allows you to steal or morph for that matter. Morphing in the Submarine in VII was a massive time sink for me.

    steal for thief job in ff11 wasnt very useful, so lets hope it is in XIV whenever they add Thief.
