I love trying out indie mmos...So i found out about THE today,,,,followed the directions..downloaded it..registered...logged in...went through the minimalistic character creation and logged into the world...The default settings were beyond LOW so i went to options..raised the bar a bit...and pressed SAVE. Nothing changed...I thought ''i must restart the client duh''.In the mean time i had to run some rrants so after 2 hours i tried to log back in i got the message ''Add game time''.Appears that the time trial lasts for a WHOLE HOUR (confirmed it at website). And not a whole IN GAME hour but an hour after you first log in!!
Wow a whole hour to make me decide whether i ll subscribe to this complete unknown indie mmo for 15$ per month which is the same sub price i could be paying for AAA games . I mean i could be spending 15$ per month in a game like RIFT and get so much ...All i got to say to the dev of this game is this:
I played/tried almost everything there is out there in the mmo rpg world. Unless you got a an indie wow killer hidden there, there is absolutely NOTHING to justify this kind of pricing/trial period limit.Good Luck.!!!

"There are at least two kinds of games.
One could be called finite, the other infinite.
A finite game is played for the purpose of winning,
an infinite game for the purpose of continuing play."

I've never heard of the game. I just found a clip of it on youtube, and what I saw there did not justify a subscription, let alone 15 bucks.
What a weird game and company.
After seeing this thread I actually got curious of what could be so special about this game that they only give a 1 hour trial and demand 15$ a month, so I watched that German vid of actual gameplay.
I will spare you the long list of bugs and missing basic features and just quote one epic thing:
The player got in contact with the dev team and clearly said that 1 hour is nowhere near enough to get a glimpse of the game.
Dev: Well then, you are our most active player - how long should the trial be?
Player: 3 days at least - a full week would be better.
Dev: Yeah.... my wife doesn't want me to extend the trial time.
LOL
This is my sig... nice huh? :P
