Anyone else just have no interest in platformers?

I remember growing up there were multiple side scrolling platformers I just used to love play. Megaman, mario brothers, (etc) but now a days I can't touch them.

 

I go through the games on the steam summer sale and I am like oh cool an indie company look at the preview and go.. oh god another platformer... There is just something about platforming that turns me off.

 

Anyone else have this experience?

Most recent game where I had that feeling was when I clicked on "Under the Ocean" which would have been a promising title for me, if not for the fact it's a side scrolling game
