The new console systems (both the PS4 and Xbox One) seem to be implementing a streamlined way of recording your own "Let's Plays." Let's suppose for the moment, for the sake of this topic that some MMORPG did the same thing whether it be on PC or said consoles.
Now let's get away from that and let me tell you a story of the period of time when I played a tank in WoW (feral druid in WotLK era.) Being a tank, I was in demand to the extent that I had a certain power over the group. Well, one day I did the dungeon finder business and a rogue in the group was rolling need on every conceivable thing that the system would allow, regardless of whether or not it was an upgrade for them. Well ANOTHER feral druid was in the group although he was DPS and was woefully undergeared and yet geared enough to make it into the dungeon finder. He got excited when X blue item dropped since he was in mostly greens and yet fully epic geared rogue won the need on the blue item that X feral wanted so badly. Well I of course inspected said rogue and said something like, "hey man, would be serious upgrade for druid, can you pass it to him?"
"lol no"
"Really? It would be a big upgrade for him and I know you don't have enchanting since we didn't get the shard roll. Why you want to vendor it so bad?"
"Bcuz I can herp derp"
I then proceed to realize that this guy is one of the lesser beings of this planet that deserve to be punished. Some people are just d1cks and if I could press a button and delete them all from humanity, I would without a backward glance. Unfortunately I cannot. But what I CAN do (at this time) is boot him the fuck out of the group. So I vote to kick him, the vote fails (maybe his friends in the group?) I then say that if we don't boot X rogue because he is a fuck face then I am aborting the group and good luck finding another tank in the next half hour. (He then gets booted.)
This leads to my point. Most people don't get just how bad someone is until they see a replay of the events that proved them as such. It seems very technologically feasible to me to record things like player position, chat logs, rolls, etc.
I think an emerging gameplay mechanic in future MMOs or in the patches to the MMOs we love is to introduce a bounty system and rating system for PvP servers and perhaps just a rating system for PVE servers.
We could throw up a youtube video of said asshattery, show the populace that this is indeed a scumbag that needs to be punished, and the community could then administer a virtual stoning.

Pointless. The chances of me (and others)...
1) Reading a post or bothering to watch a video about said malefactor, then...
2) meeting the player in a group, then
3) remembering the name, then
4) connecting the two facts
...are as statistically close to zero as makes no difference.
Yeh.
A much more efficient method is .. hit LFD. Play 1 min .. if you don't like the group for whatever reasons, hit "quit" and try again.
