Threw away original CE/No perks?

I still have my original account, except the main site seems to have been updated so now it says it was registered only a week ago. I'm confused by this.

Also, I threw away my original CE with the book that came with it. Does this mean I'm excluded from the benefits that come with having been an original subscriber at 1.0 release? If so, that sucks. Can't really blame a guy for throwing away the box for a trash version. (I did register it WAY back at launch and received my onion helm)

This could be subscription deciding. I want to play FFXIV ARR, but if I have to purchase the game again, it would most likely dissuade me from subbing.

I feel like I may miss out on something due to a good decision that I made. (Save space, ect) I don't want to regret a good decision :S

You will receive an email no doubt with instructions if you are a 1.0 CE holder.  SE likes to wait until the damn day before anything starts to send out emails sometimes though lol.  So just keep an eye on that email account and you should receive something from them.

Also, the next phase of beta is an open beta, so keep an eye out for when that's going to start and hop on in.  If nothing else it should clarify some things for you.
