There is so many mixed emotions on this game from so many differant types of players. Let us take a poll here to see who are these players who are going to be playing this and those who are not.
Yesterday a poll said aprox 70% said they liked this game, while 15% said they hated the graphics, while 15% more said they would still play even if they did not like the graphics.
So without further ado, heres a poll, and sorry If I missed any answers you would have liked to see since we cannot edit them into the poll after its created, its just a general idea of the makeup of everyone here and not something that should be taken too seriously.
Be sure to leave a comment on the page with more details, how long you played your game and what you like or dont like about EQ NEXT.

I couldn't possibly say now whether or not I'll be playing the game. Really, there is no way I can tell now.
But if the games looks well shortly before release, sure why not!

You have to comment if you want the poll to keep going.
From EQ2, played since 2006, going to play EQNext,
Will probably be nice to just play both.
I wonder if EQNext will be at Pax Prime - that would certainly create even more buzz. Wonder how much tickets cost by now since they're sold out. :P

Can't say if i'll be playing, we don't know hardly anything about it to know!
But i'm interested with what i've learned so far.
The Deep Web is sca-ry.
I'm not really coming from any certain game at all since I play several different ones, so I chose "I dont see my game - I will be playing EQ Next"
I really don't have enough information to base any decision on yet. Once they reveal everything there is, or I have been in a Beta for a good while, then I can make an informed choice to play or not.
Do I like what I have seen so far?, sure
Are there things I am not too fond of?, yup
Ask me again in a few months...
i can no longer claim any MMO as my home MMO. Im an MMO gypsey or tourist, i play as many as i can and find something good about nearly all of them. theres just way too many good games out right now.
im not even sure what my longest subscription was, but its probably Lineage 2 followed by WoW followed by Anarchy Online
I'll be playing EQN, because it looks like it will be a lot of fun.
Playing RIFT & TSW right now, previously played SWTOR, WoW, WAR, MxO, CoH, EQII, EQ, and a lot of other stuff in between.
I find it SO Typical, When the game was talked about, all you heard about was it was the Next best thing the Gaming world has ever seen. {Even though no one really new anything for sure} NOW video is released and game play is being talked freely about. and the claws come out and it is now the Devil.
It looked OK to me even though I wanted to hate it because everyone hyped it up so much. Looks cartoonish which really doesn't bother me, looks a lot like WoW meets GW2. I am not a huge WoW fan. Played it liked it, but got bored with it. Like GW2. Like the Game-Play, could be more to it but it was a fresh look. Now EQN the cross between the 2 Could go either way. WoW and GW2 with EQ lore. Interesting.
BUT, that's just my take on it. I hope the Game all the luck In the World and wish it Success. I just love watching the Fanboys Back peddle.
I will be playing as long as the game is fun and working when it is released. My first mmorpg was EQ from 2000-2005. EVE is my current mmorpg that I have been playing off and on since 2005.
The big draws getting me interested are destructible environments, procedurally-generated quests, Mob placement and behavior based on player actions and movements. I am also drawn to the way the world is being built from the surface to subsurface to caverns all the way down to the gooey lava filled center. Of course if sony doesnt deliver on being able to dig down with muscle and spells to access these subsurface regions where we want, then this would no longer be a plus but a minus. I am tired of following the rails in my fantasy mmorpgs.
The things I dislike are the character models (Kerran) and I am not sold on the action style combat.
The no class feature could be good(If I can remake my troll shadow knight from EQ1) or bad(If I cant remake my troll shadow knight from EQ1)
FUncom putting the FU in fun since 1993.

If playing means to try it out and judge the final product - then i will play it.
And i deeply hate what they have done to the character look - Stylization =/ Disneyzation !
