Someone Was Using My Account??

So I played for like 2 months when GW2 released, than yesterday I emailed them because I couldnt remember my password, I reset it and when I logged in all my characters were the same except 1, a level 80 is now on my account. My 33 is stripped of gear but he was my main, anyone else seen something like this?

Ive noticed that I occasionally get an email saying that someone has tried to access my account and when I look into its always from somewhere in China, so most likely a gold farmer. I tried to reset my password but it wont let me or something like that. After a few atempts to re-access my account and failing, I quit. I dont play it anymore and Im not getting charged so I dont really care.

Change both the password and the mail/user name. There is also an app you can download just to be sure you are safe.

Hacking was common last year. It seems to be down a lot nowadays though, I guess the transfer rates between gems and gold made buying gold not so much worth the risks anymore. A gem card gives you 60 gold today compared to 20 last autumn and people might have figured out that the chances of getting hacked increases a lot when a goldseller know your account (and that you just got gold on it).

Anyways, better safe than sorry, just change everything. I would also consider changing the password for the mail as well, you can't be too careful.
