Looking at how Early access has been, I've found Square's communication to be fairly poor in certain areas and wondered if this is standard from them not to bother responding to certain problems? Seeing as it's official release day and the service has officially commenced, I'd have thought a few things really should have been addressed, namely the three locked servers that are ALWAYS locked. I wonder how many people are currently waiting to get on these servers to play with their friends and guild members? Ever since early access started, Moogle at least has always been locked for character creation which has no doubt created headaches for guilds and for them not to address this is mind blowing especially seeing how MMO's are supposed to be social experiences. Currently there are no login queues for Moogle at prime time today at least and the starting areas have nowhere near as many people as the other servers I checked. So for my time on FF14, is it going to be standard for Square to ignore such big issues for so long?

It's hardly the smallest of things when you're stuck trying to decide whether to waste your character progress and start afresh with your friends or wait it out and cross your fingers it's resolved shortly. That's just my fortunate position, it must be far worse for guilds. For something like this, you shouldn't have to phone some premium rate phone number, it's something that should be addressed to the community. Even a small update would be better than nothing at this point. I'm crossing my fingers that they address it at some point today but I'm not holding my breath.
