Large scale pvp & classes

Hi, I have 2 questions since large scale pvp was introduced:

 

1.  How is the large scale PVP? (opinions wanted)  I haven't seen many write-ups on it in general so I was interested in feedback on what its like?  Is it just people whacking each other with sticks?  is the territory you fight in small?  Can someone compare what the large scale pvp introduced is like compared to Daoc and Guild wars 2?

 

2.  What are two complimentary pvp classes? tank + ranged? two ranged? healer + tank? which classes?

 

I've only scratched the surface on Tera so that's why I wanted some opinions.  I don't mind people making comparisons to Daoc or GW2 for the pvp section in order to give me a better picture of what the large scale pvp is like.  (i.e. territory size, daoc being bigger than Gw2, so where does tera sit). 

Do you get points for pvp kills? 

These points spent on gear, skills, stat bonuses? 

Are there keeps you can take to give stat bonuses or something similar?

    From 3v3 to 20v20, Tera's PvP is awesome when you take the time to learn your class !!

    Take a look at my youtube channel if you want, It will give you an idea of what to expect.  Just type DesroQc on youtube. :)

    As for the complimentary class, a healer paired with anyone good at his class can annihilate a whole group of noobs. Here is a good example lol... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YedL2HYvSbw

    Yes, but is this the faction based pvp that was promised in the article?  Has this already been released yet?

    Yep, it's been implemented already but I gotta admit I don't like it very much. A matter of taste I guess... It's mostly a zergfest and I don't like the fact that you can use consumables like savagery scrolls which basically transform every fight into a one-shot contest, not my cup of tea but a lot of people still enjoy it.

    Wouldn't say lots of people enjoy it. There are less people joining the alliance battles every day. Even the devs are admitting this system is a failure: http://teratoday.com/tera-news/asia/ktera-alliance-system-revamp-pt1

    Fortunately, they will completely revamp it. 

     

     As for pvp: 3vs3, 15vs15 and 20vs20 is quite fun (only three maps though).

    what level do you need to be to do the pvp?
