i know it is said that beta is ready on 11/5/05 but how will we be able to get into it, and will the averge everyday person get into it? will it cost money to play the beta? just a few questions please anwser them for me

The beta costs nothing.

The beta already started around a year ago, the "stress test" starts before the game just releases (November 2005). Everyone who signed up for closed beta will get into the last phase of beta, which is the stress test.

Wait patiently, be active and PRODUCTIVE in the community (it's not a guarantee, but it helps), and do a lot of praying.

Have you signed up on the Dark and Light website?  There is a beta application right on their main page.  I would definitely suggest being somewhat active on the D-n-L site, and watch their news closely.  They may or may not need more people than who is already in closed beta... something I wish I had been able to get into... but you never know.  The game looks like it will be incredible once they have finished it up.  I will dump EQ2 in a heartbeat if D-n-L is half of what I am expecting it to be.
