the long-awaited iOS version of Pandemic is finally coming to iPad on October 3rd. The game is based on the new version of the game, released this year, which means that you'll get the 2 new roles for a total of 7 roles to choose from.

The game will feature pass-and-play for 2-4 players as well as solo play.

No online play, but for a cooperative game that's not a deal-breaker.

The ability to change difficulty from beginner to expert is there as well as a video tutorial and animated interface. This release will not have either the Pandemic: On the Brink, nor the Pandemic: In the Lab expansion included, and there's currently no word on if/when they might be. We'll have a release post when it hits the App Store, and I would expect Brad to review this one pretty quickly as well.

My favorites on ipad this year have been Magic 2014, Xcom: EU, Baldur's Gate, Warhammer Quest & Shadowrun Returns, with the latter released today.

It truly has been a great year for iOs gaming.

Quarriors comes to ipad in November

The game appears to only include the original game at this point, with no expansions. It will have solo play as well as pass-and-play and online multiplayer for 2-4.

For those of us who haven't played the physical version, there will also be a full tutorial. The game will work on iPad2 and up, including the iPad mini. You'll need to be running iOS 5.1 at least, however.

If/When we can get some more information or, better yet, some screenshots or videos, we'll let you know.

Space Hulk: boardgame geek review

Summary
Space Hulk has been on our watch list since before GDC 2013 and has been available on PC for a few months.

Playing it on both platforms I have to say that iPad is the better experience.

While there are some finicky issues, the size and scope of the gameplay fit perfectly on an iPad. Full Control did a great job of capturing the essence of the classic game by allowing head to head battles both online and local. This does have some backlash though as, compared to more modern TBS games like XCOM, Space Hulk can feel slow and restricted. This is not a reinvention of the board game but rather a stylish, atmospheric retelling. For a game that carries a large price tag and is hard to find, this iOS version is a great opportunity for more players to experience this classic title. I highly recommend it.

Warhammer Quest 2nd expansion expected Thurs 12/12

The expansion is called The Undead Horde and will be bringing zombies and vampires to Warhammer Quest.

In fact, 4 new enemies are coming: Necromancers, Skeletons, Zombies and Vampires. Also coming is an Undead Castle tileset to mix things up a bit. The coolest addition might be the Witch Hunter. A new class that uses a pistol and sword and is pretty much the bane of the unliving.

All the expansion pieces are being released as separate IAP, so you can add as much, or as little, as you like:

woo hoo FTL FOR IPAD!!!! I CANT WAIT!!!!

I been playing Vendetta Online on iPad a lot lately. A real mmo, you can play on your pc then continue on your ipad heh. I've tried Ultima Forever but I am just not feeling it that much.
