the long-awaited iOS version of Pandemic is finally coming to iPad on October 3rd. The game is based on the new version of the game, released this year, which means that you'll get the 2 new roles for a total of 7 roles to choose from.
The game will feature pass-and-play for 2-4 players as well as solo play.
No online play, but for a cooperative game that's not a deal-breaker.
The ability to change difficulty from beginner to expert is there as well as a video tutorial and animated interface. This release will not have either the Pandemic: On the Brink, nor the Pandemic: In the Lab expansion included, and there's currently no word on if/when they might be. We'll have a release post when it hits the App Store, and I would expect Brad to review this one pretty quickly as well.
what a good news!this information really helps a lot! HA-ha, i've been meaning to find a thread or some discussion like this just can't found one until your's. thanks ! i'll take note of this.
Galaxy Trucker, the award-winning board game by Vlaa?a Chvátil, is landing on your iPad! Build space ships, dodge meteors, and fight off bad guys, all in a quest to be the trucker with the most cosmic credits at the end of the game.
This digital version can be played with up to three other players, either online or on one shared iPad. A turn-based building system designed especially for this app allows pass-and-play or asynchronous online play. You can also play real-time games online using the traditional building method of grabbing stuff and attaching it to your ship as fast as you can.
For solo play, the app offers a dozen AI personalities and a special campaign mode in which new players can learn the game and experienced players can discover new challenges. The non-linear storyline offers hours of trucking fun as you meet quirky characters and explore the Galaxy.
Hey is this a good game, i never knew games like this existed. Lol.
i searched it on web, and this all i've got. is this already released? im skeptical but wanted to try this one. seems like a good one. Ha-ha
science-fiction board game for two to four players. The game was developed by Vlaada Chvatil, with graphics designed by Radim Pech. The Czech version of the game was released in 2007 by Czech Games Edition, and a German version was published in the same year by Heidelberg.
I can already see the future where we will only have "datapad" like ME universe and we will be doing everything with those : hacking, gaming, trade etc etc..to think the quality of some game on i-pad or android are far superior to some million $ pc game is shocking. and some game even have more content through online connectivity than the current mmorpg we play. how soon i wonder we will get a portable gaming machine..
Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.
It's a sprawling non-linear RPG with exploration and storytelling at its heart.
You should also be able to see at a glance that the 2D graphics of Battleheart have been swapped for 3D in Legacy.
12 playable classes, hundreds of unique skills and pieces of playable equipment.
That may sound like it could lead to a lot of fiddling, but Mika assures us that we'll be employing just a few taps to navigate menus and fight foes with the refined battle system.
Battlelore: Command made its appearance for both iOS Universal and Android devices. BattleLore Command is the digital port of BattleLore (Second Edition) and it comes with a lengthy single player campaign that tweaks some of the BattleLore mechanics a bit to fit the story and change up the objectives, as well as a skirmish mode that is, basically, the board game in digital form.
You can play skirmish mode either against the computer or against another player via local wifi. There doesn't appear to be any internet multiplayer yet.
I've had the chance to play around with the campaign for a little bit this morning and, so far, I'm loving it. It's an incredibly polished app full of help and tutorials for newbies, and it's great to have a Command & Colors game finally on my iPad.
You can pick it up for iOS Universal here (iPad2+, iPhone4S+), and for Android here. Either one will cost you $10.
i browse on web for some good ipad game an found this one. Ha-ha, this really catches my attention

This thread is epic. So many stuff to try and this is very helpful when looking for new games. Gaming has improved so much on tablet nowadays. Graphics are very good and I get sick battery life of my ipad. I think I can do 10 hours of non-stop intesive graphics gaming!
I am not sure if it was mentioned but I love the Infinity Blade series. Especially 3. It's so epic, I even bought the books.
I am about to try FTL as everyone is praising it so much!
