Have i outgrown games?

I am starting to thing i have outgrown games in general...or maybe WoW has burnt me right out. Back long ago i played WoW for 6-7 years my last expansion was Cata...i have since left WoW for over a year and have no plans on returning as its the same thign over n over. So i tryed to venture to other games...other MMO's, FPS and more...NOTHING has been able to hold my intrest for more than 2 weeks TOPS....

Like stated i donno maybe games these days r just too cookie cutter for me and arnt offering me anything new...or maybe im just burnt out...sucks too cuz i just built a new PC and cant really use it for what it was built for now lol.....suggestions?

    Maybe look back to the way before and see what sparked that enthusiasm.

    Or try a different genre of game?

    Personally I played through several genres of games to find what I'm looking for. From then on any game that has that certain factor sparks my interest in playing it. That includes some self-encouragement as well. Self-encouragement to actually try out a game to see how it is.

    Those factors that encourage you to play are key. Unless you find out what they are then you'll continue wondering.

    That's how it is for me at least.

    Getting in with a good guild in your game of choice (whether it be WoW or w/e) can help make it fun again!

    I have tried other games to, RIFT, GW2, the projects I did like were either vaporware or DOA an mmo has to feel like more than a game. Like your home away from home and these newer games feel like souless cash grabs.

    Similar thing happend with me at 31, I suddenly lost interest in tv cartoons. Occasionally enjoy some pixer or similar type of movies with some friends or the wife. But in general the way I alway's enjoyed watching cartoon has passed.

    So yeah you might be outgrown games in general, it happens, I bet it happens with more things for different people.

    I still love games, been so since Pong, currently enjoying Assassin Creed 3 and can only imagine that type of character combat and movement to see in MMORPG in maybe 4 to 6 years from now.

    I also enjoy the little things the details in games and they only have become better and better, people seem to ignore allot or just take for granted.
