Umm, isn't that how every subscription based mmo does it?  I had the same thing with WoW and SWTOR.

That's how they work. I have the opposite problem tho. I'm subscribed, but I'm still waiting for them to bill me. D:

Try reading next time, it clearly tells you how the billing gets setup.

No pity.  People like you deserve every bit you get.  Take advantage of the ignorant.

    Victims in every corner nowadays....

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

thats how all subscription mmos work. Just do what i do, purchase one month then cancel the subscription and erase the credit card info from the account. You still have your entire month of playtime available since its already paid. Anytime you want another month do the same thing, purchase then cancel. I do it that way because i dont purchase subscriptions every month for any game, so i dont forget and get billed again.

Purchase a pre-paid credit card . Dont give your personal card . It might cost you a couple bucks more to fill it , but they cant get access to your personal shit and it might save you a few headaches.

From my personal experience, when I cancelled the renewal to FF14arr, I also closed my account. There was not an option given to "cancel resubscription but play out remaining online days". This was ok with me at the time because I was angry and formally done playing, but I will tell you it is not as you say.

Incidentally when you do this you also can no longer post on their forum.

edit: Also, for what it's worth, there were alot of complaints of people who were resubbed during suspension periods with no recourse because they had no access to their account options. This is a very bad practice. My account became accessible 2 days before resub after 6.5 day unearned suspension, and I was able to cancel in time.
