Potential Roadblocks to Playing: Help a Brother Out!

I was a pre-WoW MMORPG gamer, so I never did get into WoW any more than 3 months at a time during the Wrath expansion and only then because I was a huge fan of Frozen Throne. Anyways, I just got the urge to play this game again. Last time I played was when Mists released and I only played for a month. Long enough to test out the new class and level a lot of classes up through the early to mid levels by dungeon grinding. I think I quit to try out GW2 and never returned.

There are a few roadblocks for me to play this game, that I'm sure any helpful community members should be able to help with.

1. Accessing my account. I've owned two accounts since WoW released. I gave up on the first one because it was hacked so many times. My second account has all the expansions and I believe it was hacked too. If I play again I will be getting one of those security tokens like FF14 has. The problem is figuring out what my username and password is.

2. I'm long out of my hardcore MMORPG playing days. Now if I play one, it's to experience all the content at least once and compete in the PvP scene. The problem with this is that I haven't had a character at max level since Wrath was out. So I don't crap about any mechanics or changes that's happened since Wrath, despite trying out Cataclysm and Mists, and that's because I never got past the mid-levels. Is there any one stop shop kind of links to bring me up to speed on this game?

3. Lastly, because I would like to play competitively (not professionally), I'd love to know if there is a main website that discusses the PvP scene (ie. best classes, builds, gear, strats, and party compositions).

4. Oh yeah, and which USA server should I play on? The game is old, so I'm sure the community has migrated to be on the most populated servers. A website link so I could research this would be just as good.

I'm greatful to anyone who can answer one or more of these questions.
