We have not officially begun fundraising for Gloria Victis but as many of you have followed us from the start, we will accept donations prematurely in this case. Donations are used on such things as server maintenance, software purchasing and services such as web developers and voice actors.

We believe that gamers have as much of a stake in the project as developers do, therefore for those that donate, we are ethically obligated to extend an invitation to the Pre-Alpha to show exactly what you are contributing towards. And the firsthand experience of the project will allow you to provide us with valuable feedback towards the development process based on what you have seen and experienced. Currently, the threshold for a Pre-Alpha invitation is a donation of $10 or more.

If you are interested in supporting this project by making a donation and to better contribute in terms of opinion and ideas on how game concepts and mechanics should play out you can make a paypal donation to info@gloriavictisgame.com. Your account will be created within 24 hours, but most of time it will take way faster!

Although the minimum required to be invited to the Pre-Alpha is $10 there will be many special thank you gifts for amounts higher than $10 which will be given to players during the entire game progreess, starting from soundtracks getting trough customised heraldics for you and your guild ending at non-instanced houses in the middle of largest cities. Unique rewards for most generous donatours.
Those that contribute will have their donations noted and be included in releases for future unique thank you gifts throughout the game development process.
If you already have access and wish to further support our project by making donations we will be keeping track of all of these additional donations and will send the thank you gifts out when our official fundraising campaign starts.
We are offering this to our community first for our longest supporters first dibs on limited packs.

So far can you only donate through Paypal? I had a bad experience with them a while ago and havn't used them since. I like the idea of this from a company and really want to support it.

But as we are working on a entire new website where we will provide much more options, it should be done within a month.

There is a fee on their end to receive the donation, so might wanna be nice and take that into account when making the donation.

just donated!  If you select "send money to friends or family" it lets you incur the fee instead of putting it on them.

however doing that does not protect you if it turns out to be a scam. Not to say it is, but we have had lots of scams in the past.

I see your point. I am also angry on all those devs who were collecting money and gave nothing. Thats why give everyone access into Pre-Alpha within 24 hours of donation instead of promising it will start working next year.

First of all i'm really impressed and excited about playing gloria victis so far.

but im not sure about donating 10€ for getting alpha access without even knowing if the game ever releases. as we know it didn't get funded on kickstarter. I want this project to succeed but the future is unpredictable right? How it gets funded now since kickstarter fails?

I couldn't follow this project for some time on forums (RRRRRRRRASTAPASTOR EHRE ...obviously ), cuz of many projects im working on right now...

 

BUT PPL I SAY U ONE THING, when Polish man is doing sth, he does it good. These guys have so much passion and love for this game and development process itself that You don't have to be worried. I myself would like to be a game developer but my self esteem is to low to app for such job (i always have this feeling that i would not fulfill expectations of supervisors, well maybe some day i will break this stupid wall) anyways its not about me . 

 

You can be sure that this game will be a bloody( and im saing it for real, real bloody) fun. No infantile story, that everyones are happy. I hope that this game will treat us like adults and inteligent ppl, just like in The Witcher (which im fanboy of ). Its not a bad thing to take inspirations from other great projects. 

 

I know that these guys are determined to deliver us the best experinece possible, because they are gamers too and they want to treat gamers the same as they would like to be treated.

 

Maybe its a good thing that they don't have this multi milion budget. I thought about that some time ago. This game comes to life not because they want to milk players from the money, they want to build this game, beacause they love games, and they put their very heart to this project, so we can experience some incredibile adventure. Im soooooooo jelous about them, they do what they love, but as i watch them in their creative process i get more and more inspirations to step forward in my dream of becoming a game dev, these guys give that hope, that everyone if they are determined enough can create sth special from scratch, without big budget. 

 

I'm not hoping they release this game, IM 100% SURE about that, so i want to tell Black Eye Games one thing, never forsake Your hope and never forsake Your dreams, when You are downed, there is always a bright spot You can reach fror. There is no problem that group of friends can't overcome, You proven me many times, that You as a team are great group of friends that have one commong goal. Thats it, thats what i wanted to say. Show the world, You are worth!

Unsuccesfull kickstarter made no harm at all. We were collecting money for creating an Alpha version of the game which is nearly done already. Of course it took us a lot more of time.

We will be opening a official donations with our new site, going into greenlight, then try to get into Steam Early Access and than Kickstarter it once again.

There is always a risk, indeed, but we gave so much sweat and blood in this year and a half we are creating Gloria Victis that I guess there is no way back already

At the end of this year game should be pretty playable, with all of the features we want to hit.
