Khm, I do not understand how can be this guy and his presentation hilarious or whatever to any1. Maybe for small kids. Anyway ... just seeing his name from now on will make me to skip presentation.
Originally posted by Vorthanion I wish it was just for show, but sadly, most nerds completely lack the ability to deal with outsider humor in regards to their beloved hobbies. The inability of the bystanders to join in the snarkiness made me sad and embarrassed for them. Instead of getting in on the joke, they become the joke.
I saw smiles on their faces and laughter from their mouths. They knew who Conan was and how he tries to draw out humor. Remember, this video is several hours of footage cut up into a few minutes. Why be embarrassed for them? What is it about them that you don't like about yourself?
Maybe my criticism has hit too close to home for you. I can easily laugh at myself and won't hesitate to join in on the humor. I just find it odd that a hobby based on gaming doesn't bring out more humor in the participants than it did in that video, yet it is very indicative of nerddom as a whole when in many other instances in the past where comedians try to lighten up the gaming scene or event only to fall flat as no one joins in on the silliness.
Loved it when he pointed out the heavy breathing at character creation. That drives me nuts. I think every 3D MMORPG I have ever played has the characters breathing as if they just ran a freaking marathon, the worst offenders being the females and their heaving chests.

"Hey dick, I asked you a freaking question!?
"U mad?"
"I understand that if I hear any more words come pouring out of your **** mouth, Ill have to eat every fucking chicken in this room."
I love that he spends so much time trying to yell at someone that they just walk away and he doesn't even notice until they are long gone. :-)
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
"hey dick...."
"u mad bro?"
