I would have loved if the next mass effect and dragon age games,

would let you play with other people instead of caracters in the game.

these games are good but just think if you could do missions online,

it would be great fun.

One of the most interesting parts in Dragon Age is interacting with the NPC party. I don't know how that would go with making it an online co-op game.

Mass Effect 3 had co op play.  We already saw what happened to KOTOR when it went MMO.  It was more or less a more restricted WoW that followed a specific character storyline.  The classes were nothing like in the original games.  They were changed to the current idea of what a MMO class/abilities should be.  The Elder Scrolls Online seems to be going down the same path.  If it was just Skyrim with the ability to play with a lot of people then it would probably be a lot more fun.  Mass Effect doesn't seem like it would lend itself to an MMO.  It is very story driven.  There isn't much point in playing with other people if you are going to just play by yourself in instances.  The single player game experience will be superior.

You can play Baldur's Gate together with your friends if you want to. The enhanced edition doesn't cost much and since it's 2,5D, it has aged fairly well. Up to 6 players. One is "the hero" the rest function as companions.

Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 work just as well.
