The Repop is the only upcoming game that fits your list..  If you don't like how the awesome devs there are doing things, I guess you are out of luck.

    Putting my money on Wildstar!!

Repop is another Earthrise epic fail in my opinion. Don't see that game coming to life at all. I have a friend in the testing and she says its udder failure at best! Till I play it myself I don't believe that vaporware will come to see a "gold" release! If by some act of a miracle it does, it will be another Tabula Rasa or Matrix Online and die a very fast and painful death due to bad support.

Well, not all new sci-fi games can be the cream of the crop, and while someone who finds one may appear to be the 'cat that got the cream', the proof is in the pudding. Not every game you like at first turns out to be the land of milk and honey. But if you never do find that one game, there is no use in crying over spilled milk. You should grab on to a game you like and milk it for all it is worth. Sometimes you just have to remember the old adage; 'Tough titty said the kitty, but the milk's still good'! Just watch out for F2P games, you always have to suspect someone that gives the milk away for free...

Besides that friend of yours may not be the milk of human kindness... in fact, she sounds like a cow.

'Sandbox MMO' is a PTSD trigger word for anyone who has the experience to know that anonymous players invariably use a 'sandbox' in the same manner a housecat does.

No game is more fun than the one you can't play, and no game is more boring than one which you've become familiar.
