3rd time questioned by admins

AkulasAkulas Member RarePosts: 3,028
Mentioned something about botting on the forums and at first I thought it was just a player asking when I meant in game but then on 3 seperate occasions I get asked by 2 different admins who is botting etc. There was a ninja looter who I was having a go at but I think it's a bit strange to get asked so many times about one random line that was said in chat. Hope that isn't their bot detecting method.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

You are worried that admins took notice of your complaint about a bot? You are worried by the fact admins make efforts to look into the situation? I just....this is a problem now?

The game is new, people are playing "favorites" and kissing up to the admins and harassing people under the veil of good intentions. Hopefully the admins will get tired of it as this favoritism could seriously scar this small games chance at future success.

It's really a fun game. I announced a bot in world chat, and someone came and recorded the bot. Don't know if it was a GM. He never said he was.

I hope they are able to police bots. They really ruin games and the economy.

    Edit.

Free to play game. Seems it will be a bot fest. Their business  model will attract the farmers and gold sellers.

Too bad, it is a fun game.

Well if they are starting to see bots already. they better jump on that fast. Took Runescape 12 years to virtually stamp out botting. I don't expect it will take it's more linear clone any less time if they don't get on it hard right away.

It's truly amazing what some people will find fault with

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

If you were asked about a bot probably some of our admins simply thought you had found a bot and were offering to investigate said bot. We do not allow any sort of afk botting in the game and using one will result in a suspension or a ban.
