Industry analysts were giving rough estimations and Tencent Games decided to simply give them all the information. Keep in mind, this is only in China. 

1,500,000 CCU seems like an insane number to me especially for an MMO, but it came directly from the studio.

Wish they would hurry up and localise. This game looks like a lot of fun.

Agreed. You can play the CN version for free without jumping through too many hoops, but I'd prefer it if it came to the west. However, NCsoft doesn't seem like they're interested in doing so.
