I started in Limsa Lominsa and have five classes to level 10+ with the level 10 class quest done. But I still don't see any nice way to travel to other starting areas, as is necessary to pick up some other classes. I tried a Google search, and found a bunch of different answers, at least one of which is likely correct. But I have no idea which one:
1) You have to get to level 15, then you can go.
2) You have to complete the level 15 story quest, then you can go.
3) You can easily travel somewhere "around" level 15.
4) You need to get to level 20.

So which is it? Is it just get some class, any class, to 15 and then I can go? Does it need to be a particular class, such as a fighting one? Do I have to do a level 15 class quest? Do I have to do a bunch more quests in the main storyline before I can go to another starting city? Could I just do quick synthesis cooking maple stuff to level 15 and then go?

I can't remember what triggers the quest you need, but if you follow the story quests, you'll get the necessary quest around level 15. The quest gives you access to the airships, and you'll be able to take the airships to all of the capital cities.
I think this is the mission you need to gain airship access for Limsa Lominsa:

So basically, it's finish the main storyline for Limsa Lominsa (I've read elsewhere that the storylines converge at that point), and then I can catch an airship to other cities? Sounds like I'd need to get a combat class up, then, as there's more fighting to come.
Is the airship to other cities:
1) infinitely reusable?
2) free?
3) instant?
If "no" to any of those, I'd appreciate an explanation.
1) yes, infinitely reusable
2) no, there is a small fee you pay each time
3) basically yes, there's a cutscene and/or loading screen. It's not like FFXI where you wait for a boat, then actually sit on the boat for 10 minutes waiting to reach your destination.
