many of them isn't mmorpg. So talking about non mmorpg on a mmorpg forum....
Beside I can't say the data is even accurate. Since most of those mmorpg on the chart are actually p2p or freemium.
Or talking about maplestory, most of the revenue is from asian players. And if you include asian players in the chart. Many asian games should be on the chart and is not up there.

This is probably a marketing campaign by Crossfire who faked this data chart cause that has to be the most retarded game compared to League of Legends which I can halfway believe as making as much as the chart says.
I know nothing about Crossfire. But it really depend if asian players play it or not.
I have no idea how games like maplestory make the chart too. But apparently many asian players actually play them.

Close enough.
If MMORPG list them (LoL, WoT), it is good enough for me. Furthermore, while you can split hair, don't tell me most players wouldn't play LoL just because it is not a "proper" MMO.

I guess the case for F2P must be very flimsy if you have to try to use LoL and WoT.
Most MMO players do NOT play LoL or WoT, its a different market. Of course there is some overlap, sports games and MMORPGs are two different markets and I play both.

The way a game reports it's revenue when it has a hybrid model is that it reports the subscription income in it's P2P earnings, and the cash shop revenue in it's F2P revenue. This data is, for hybrid games, strictly the cash shop revenue, it doesn't include subs.

"The numbers for 2013 are in! This month we take a look at the top ten earners in worldwide free-to-play. Tencent continues its dominance in the space with CrossFire and League of Legends" - the article in question.

According to this website F2P is going to start to go away and P2P is going to take over once again. This data must be false.

F2P MMO .... grew 45%.
P2P MMO .... lost 19%
.. seems like the trend of F2P taking over continues.

Tencent is an Asian company...
Seems really obvious to me.
