About the guild:
Remnants of Hope was founded on June 7, 2009. Originally a Star Wars Galaxies guild, it moved to Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch. Well known and respected on the Jung-Ma server, we continue to have an active, positive presence in the game.
At the request of its members, Remnants of Hope has changed into a multi-gaming guild to accommodate Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy XIV. Over the past 3 years we have undergone changes but continue to improve with age and experience. We strive to provide an engaging environment for all players to play the way they want. In GW2, we currently have a group of about 15 - 20 members who play daily, with many other more casual players who pop in a few times a week, and we are looking to expand our ranks.

About the division:
Tyria is a big world...a big, lonely, dangerous world. Remnants of Hope is like a beacon of.....well, Hope! You don't have to face the elder dragons alone when you have guild mates to guard your back and pick you up when you're knocked down. While we have dedicated leadership that strives to provide a fun and engaging time for the guild, our members contribute to that fun as well. From High Elder to Trial Member, we're all peers in RoH. We're a very community-oriented guild, so if you're looking for more than just the typical guild, stop by and see if we're the right one for you!

PvE:
We cover everything you could need in the PvE arena… dungeons, jumping puzzles, exploration, and more. We've got Guild Missions too! Bounties, Rushes, Guild Puzzles, etc. Chances are you'll be able to find something to do and have some good people to do it with.

RP:
Hi, I’m Appleveedub and I run the RP Department of Guild Wars 2. Here at Remnants of Hope we strive to help new Role Players, and those interested to get involved and learn the ins and outs of role play. We also do a lot of talks about the game’s lore and story. Every Saturday we do a Lore Discussion where I talk about a subject (e.g Humans), go in depth on their lore and do a Q&A afterwards. The guild’s story has just started out so things aren’t straightened out yet, but our team is working hard to get a story that everyone will love!

PvP/WvW:
We have people who do it all here, from our Weekly WvW run to our sPvP players! If you’re looking for some more in-depth PvP this is the place to look. If you have never done any type of PvP before but would like to try we have people who are willing to help you with everything from your builds to your armor and what food buffs you should run. Remember when it comes to PvP 'No Question Is A Stupid Question' so don't be shy! Come and join us for some good times in the mist's.

How to join:
1. Visit our site and create an account.
2. Validate the account using the email that is sent to you.
3. Once validated follow the steps found here to fill out an application!
4. Once your application is accepted you go through a 2 week trial process to make sure we are the right guild for you.
5. After your trial period you are a full member!
Please view your application as our first meeting! Take your time and fill it out as thoroughly as possible. We like to get to know you a little bit in it. Give us a feel for who you are in those answers and let us see how great of a person you are!

RoH had an awesome time saving the citizens of Lion's Arch from Scarlet's malevolent minions. I probably ended up on main at least two dozen times in the past week and I think Tarnished Coast only failed to hit the 1200 mark once or twice. Very proud of our server, and glad we could do our part to help out. For the toast!

RoH is hosting an art commission for a bunch of different artists, and I was able to get a very cool picture drawn of my character Gorrmak by an artist named Crowblack! Wouldn't have been able to get such a cool drawing if RoH didn't set it up!
