    4. BONUS TREASURE
MAPS Your bundle of bonus treasure maps will lead you to hidden chests full of loot.

It looks like a lot of bonus items witht he digitial pack.   Mudcrabs were in a lot of the streams in past ES games that gave crab legs for alchemy.   Another instresting thing was the Rings of Mara.  Mara in ES games happens to be the goddess of Love,  marriage and family.   Now you REALLY can marry your xp buddy...  Bromance anyone?    The Transforming of gear into Imperial Armor seems to be really nice, I think a lot of people will like this feature of the CE,  great Vanity item to have.

Now the preorder things are really Special,  the ability to be any RACE in ANY ALLIANCE that you CHOOSE to be.   People have really been asking for this and its part of the PRE ORDER bonus.  Another thing I find VERY instreasting and looks to be a really cool feature....  BONUS TREASURE MAPS...   It appears to be a picture and says it will lead you to treasure.   I love these kinds of things, It really makes you feel like a pirate.

Well that's all for the DIGITAL COLLECTORS EDITION.

Here is the OFFICIAL Retail Collectors Edition and what it includes:

Box Collectors Edition    for PC and MAC

You get Everything that is in the DIGITAL COLLECTORS EDITON and the SAME Pre Order Items and also:

Collectors Box Imperial Edition:  $99.99

The book,  A Map,  The Statue of Molag Bal  (which is the main badguy in ESO, and a Game Manuel,

I think the CE is a great deal.    If you look the Regular edition is 59.99,   for the Digitial its 79.99,   So your actually paying 20.00 for all the a ton of stuff,  a mount, a race, xp rings.   I think that's a pretty good deal there.

The retail box which I'll be getting is around 99.99,  which is 20 bucks more but you get the two things I like the most, the book and the map.  The statue, not to be mean but will probably go bye bye.   I think that's a reasonable price to pay.   I think the statue could have been left out to reduce the cost and should have maybe added a coin or a comic book for collectors out there.

Other then that, I'm pretty pleased with this.     I think I probably still wont play imperial just because its offered though, and the race skills are like class skills so I'll STILL be Khajit my favorite race,  I'll put my map on the wall and have the book handy for any referances in game I see.   Will be really fun I think.

Another great thing I think the retail box is offering is the ability to CHOOSE any Race for ANY ALLIANCE you CHOOSE.  Which means I can now be Khajit and STILL play with my Friends on another ALLIANCE.

The rings are really intriguing to me. I play with my GF more often than not, or with my brother if its a game she doesnt want to play. My only question is this, if I order the Imperial edition, and she does as well, can we exchange both rings with each other, and stack the bonus XP? There are two ring slots in equipment. Or does this mean, one of us should give the other ring away to a third person, and then does that bonus stack, if all 3 of us play together? I hope this gets clearified soon.

would be nice if Imperial players  can try defend Cyrodil from invanders as 4th faction .

Well race actually is just like class, its not going to mean anything in the end,  The skills from your weapons define who you are, like your Bow, or Magic, or Axe,  and your choice of Guild.

Welcome to the "new age" of gaming, where anything and everything that can possibly be monetized will be.

It's kind of inevitable, these AAA MMO's cost a bundle to make, and the average player doesn't play them for more than a month or two, so they have to dream-up every imaginable ploy to wring money out of the transient playerbase...

No, they can be randomly aligned to one of three regions for no good reason like every other race now.

Why are they fighting again? Seems kinda pointless since its all just going to be a mixed bag of races.

    [mod edit]

I wont lie, I am an ES fan and have really liked what I seen over the last month here on the game.  So take what ever I say in context of that.  I don't expect you to be as excited as me but at same time I am what I am!

Probably the first CE I been excited to buy even before its annoucment since when I bought my AoC CE.  I just hope they offer lifetime subs also,  I really wanted the LOTRO lifetime sub back in the day and regreat missing out on it, I think this one would be really great to have.  Cause this is the game I would buy a lifetime with, and that's coming from a person who felt burned by the STO pre order lifetime.
