Though I feel a little dirty rooting for Pantheon due to the allegations against Brad and the subsequent loss of the original Pantheon team, I still hope somehow they manage to get this off the ground; Not for the sake of Brad profiting, but for the sake of the genre. Anyone that played original EQ and Vanguard know that the guy knows how to create a compelling fantasy world, even if he doesn't know or isnt responsible enough to be the person managing an game's development.
For the sake of MMORPGs, I hope Pantheon manages to pull through and attract a major investor. I also hope Brad does the right thing and find someone capable of managing the game, because he still doesn't seem like he is capable of doing so.

This critical concept is the key to untold monies; and SOE, in particular, fails hard to realize it. They are chasing one revenue stream; one genre; the Cash shoppe.
Re Pantheon, anyone who gives McQuaid money would be better served giving it to beggars. They will appreciate it more and put it to better use. If McQuaid ever gets his act together, some big name investors should have no problem funding a project he's involved in (but never to lead the project). His masterpiece was EQ and VG could have been great if Microsoft didn't pull the plug.
Luckily, i don't need you to like me to enjoy video games. -nariusseldon. In F2P I think it's more a case of the game's trying to play the player's. -laserit
