This looks pretty cool, yet to hit greenlight or any kind of crowdfunding.

First of all ,it looks ok and sounds good enough but...

What separates triple A from wanna be are the structures, buildings.

You see they can auto generate a city and buildings, but they won't have any insides, they will simply be boring static structures like we see in many lazy cheaper games.

With pvp you need structures to go in and hide and move about without being an open target standing in the open. You need to really think out the weapons because what ruined COD was the addition of radar and players running around on speed with a knife and of course the cheats.

I do like the term used "Survival" that si what i like a mmorgp to be,a survival game versus the elements and the mobs,i don't like a game focusing on pvp combat that detracts everything a rpg stands for.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

It's quite a lofty goal, and I'd imagine any of there funding could easily come from selling the mapping data that they are acquiring. I can't really think of many companies that are trying to use Drones to map the entire world, but I can think of plenty that would sell their left kidney for the data. Except of course they would have to find a way around the legality issues of flying drones in restricted air spaces, so mapping the whole world will likely never happen. But they could probably do most of it and fill in the rest with satellite data or something.

either you trolling or your not using your brain, what makes you think they wont do what they did with the drones around the world to just a building.....Something tells me scanning the inside of a building is ....I dont know  easy compared to the planet.

The game looks to be off to a great start, I forsee it taking way long to finish tho and it could be buggy as all hell if not done slow enough.

Using a drone to scan the inside of a building is extremely difficult and if they pulled it off DARPA would be all over them. They'd have to scan it by hand (impossible amount of work) or do the indoor environments by hand or through random generation.

I think the drones are more for landscape and building position. I don's see them scanning each and every building in the world. Let's have some common sense shall we?

I'm thinking about redoing the toilets in my flat. Should I tell them to come and scan my home again? Is there a form where I need to apply?

    Joke aside:

    Earth land surface: 148,940,000 km2

Wondering how long it would take scanning all that... (plus some countries wouldn't allow it I would imagine)

Sounds unlikely.... can't see places like China and north Korea allowing this or going to the poles just for that. In fact the more I think about it the more over the top it sounds.
