Although not sure how long WildStar will last in the long run. I will be definitely purchasing this game and playing it at launch.

I vote maybe. If not at release, I will get it later on. It depends on whether I am doing away work when it is released (happens a lot during summer months), and whether the game is up more than it is down. That is always the danger of playing right at release.

Not at launch and not after launch! I just cant get used of the kiddie graphics and the circles on the ground. I like the cartoon style from wow and gw2 but wildstar, made me feel im walking in a my little pony environment! !

Didn't vote, as I haven't got a chance to try it out, I am thinking no, but I don't want to write something off, without trying it.

I see a lot of people saying they going to wait until f2p or if its going to be b2p,

Well in a dev speak I think it was they said its going to be p2p with an option to buy more game time in game for the money you earn.. ( aka the Chronoscrolls that tera had)

I will diff be playing this at launch, I play now and will continue too, its pretty fawkin fun if you ask me

NO! I don't like those big aoe green red circles looks dumb

Way to many effects ( I've watched some gameplay too much sparkle and crap like fire works for kids .....)

Childish game style, characters models, texture  cartoonish crap

Idk but visually game is not appealing at all looks like an fantasy world of a 9 years old drug addict... Thanks but no !

Being under NDA I can't say anything in detail, but to answer the ops question,  nope, not even considering it.

I dont know why you guys or trolls are saying its like WoW, just b/c of the graphics?

The game is really fun if you tired it out.. ya its not going to be for everyone but I do believe it will be a success for awhile at least, I played ESO but I didn't like it combat was nice it was all nice but I couldnt get pass the PvP which scaled besides Points, Gives nothing to work forward to..

but that game is going to be a success for awhile as well.. Nothing is going to be as successful as WoW EVER!! I never played wow more then 1 day but they have/had a Great game at its time..

The "Only" thing I dont like about Wildstar is the fact that I cant find in option to not hold right mouse button down the whole time while fighting mobs.. wish it was more like Tera camera view.. meaning if you move your mouse left or right the aimer would move with you..

Thats not the case with wildstar, you are spamming your first ability and you have to hold RMB to keep aiming it.. while kiting.. thats my only down fall

    @Djevik
    Can't reply properly atm.
On the W* forums there's a whole section for add-ons.
From there I installed a few including DeadLock. It made the gameplay like TERA with the camera locked to the mouse.
That's how I was playing the whole weekend.

    NO.

I was not impressed by the Beta.

It's not a game that I want to pay a monthly sub for on top of the retail price. I might have bought it if it had been B2P. As it is, I'm content to wait for the inevitable B2P or F2P conversion a year after launch. (Before anybody mentions it, I'm sure I wouldn't have played it enough hours to earn enough of the game currency to buy monthly subs with that.)

No, from what I'm reading, pretty sure this isn't the right title for me.

Didn't like the last couple playthroughs, I'll stick with World Of Warcraft and beef up for the WoD expac.

No, is not the Graphics, Is the whole game!!. Pretty much all the MMOs of the last few years tried to do something new or different, with good and bad results, but they tried, and the MMO genre grow with the mistakes of others in some way. But Wildstar have nothing new at all, nothing, the game have everything that WoW have with a GW2 combat system and probably most of the people who will play it are players from WoW trying something new till the new xpac.

Hmm I fail to see why people like you don't do your history study of games before you just go and say people claim some games are like Wow yet without justification of the fact.

I myself believe this game is very much a Wow Clone. Why you ask? Well let me see here Carbine Studios was created by 17 former members of Blizzard Studios, who back in 2005 started the creation of the game we call "Wildstar" today.

And funny point: If you ask yourself why does Wildstar have this outdated look to it and reminds you of so much WoW back in 2005 is because that is exactly when this game was started on. Took them long enough.

2007 NCSoft acquired Carbine Studios claiming later they were working on a project (yet in fact this project Wildstar was in development two years before they made this statement).

I think that Wildstar is going to be very popular in a certain segment of the market, but I'm not in that segment. I'll get around to playing it at some point in the future, but first I'll be spending a few months in ESO.

And to add,  WoW has a wonderful story and lore. Wildstar will be great for a while for me, but it doesn't have any type of established story or history that captures me.

Yes, I will buy it!  No, I don't think I will play for very long.

I definitely am. I think a lot of people are drawing comparisons to WoW based off of graphics alone and writing it off, and for those people being that simplistic about it I am sorry that they will miss out on a good game. I have played both this and the ESO beta. I had to literally force myself to play ESO long enough to make a decision (I decided it was god awful), whereas Wildstar I didnt want to put down and had to force myself to stop. The biggest thing for me, the thing I think so many themepark MMOs have lacked lately, is real class identity, and I feel like Wildstar has it. The combat was fun, and while most of the quests were boring standard stuff, the Path quests were pretty fun (as an Explorer anyway, tried scientist also and wasnt too impressed with that one).

This is the first MMO I have been excited for since WAR. Even though WAR didn't work out so well, I still had a fun couple months so hopefully I will get the same from Wildstar. The game is good enough for a purchase, will have to see the endgame to see if I stay subbed.

It plays just like WoW, why can I not make this comparison?
