No, I just realized I'm propably too old for this title. Game doesn't appeal to me in any way.
I'm not against cartoony style in MMO. but this one was far beyond my limits. Cacophony of the colors got me a headache after hour or so. I have experienced all of the game solutions in other titles, so Wildstar was nothing new to me at all.
After playing both ESO and Wildstar beta, my personal opinion is:
ESO = complete crap with the single worst combat system I've ever experienced, although it's really faithful to the ES franchise and it looks pretty ... I guess, if you dig realistic graphics.
Wildstar = Quirky humour right from the first cutscene, moving freedom similar to GW2 (a huge plus), stylized graphics (you're either going to love or hate it; I kinda like them, but they're nothing special), the space-fantasy crossover is interesting, combat is minimalistic, but nicely working (from what I've seen up to Lv 6), performance was pretty bad last weekend, although this will surely change once it approaches launch.
I won't touch ESO even with a wooden stick and will probably buy Wildstar near launch, maybe a month later.
Again: this is my PERSONAL opinion having played both betas.
The art design is done well and the humor was definitely a plus (it is what it is), but I never once enjoyed myself playing the game so I'll pass. Have fun though.

Not right now. I was somewhat underwhelmed during the marketing event beta. I like the concepts, presentation and humor, but somehow the sum of all parts seemed less than what is currently on the market.
After the beta weekend all i can say is: SWTOR have nothing to worried about, not even TESO, or GW2. People will try WS, but probably not that much as all the Hype around this game really believe. I was really waiting to try this game, all i have after the beta is a huge disappointment. Good for the people who like it, im not one of them, as many others around.
Yes. Its an enjoyable game for sure so I likely will take the gamble to get involved. Its got enough going for it to spark a likely purchase. Open beta pretty much will be what will most likely be used to judge.
As a side note... Its quite amazing seeing how many people are stupid calling it a wow clone. They must be the type that feels there is no difference between a toy car and a real plane. Its quite amusing thinking about how they go about their everyday life making two completely different things with a few common elements (which is common in all games in their genre) makes the two games somehow the same.
100% yes and without hesitation. It's hands down the most complete MMO to release in the genre. It's a shame that people want to keep chasing that next "revolutionary" title when the things that make MMO's special are all in WildStar. There are many people who will stand by the wayside completely confused as to why WildStar maintains its popularity since they will never give the game a close enough look to see it for the gem that it is.
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.
No. Like ESO I'm going to wait for the sub to go away before I play becuase I'm not sure it's worth it. However, I think Wildstar is a WAY more solid game than ESO and I will probably have to wait a lot longer (if ever) for it's F2P conversion over ESO's. For ESO's I'm in no hurry for it's conversion, but when it happens I will still pop in.

Or they see it for exactly what it is, a rehash of the same ol same ol essentially and are tired of it. Wildstar is by far no gem in my eyes. But fanboys go ahead flame on opinions that differ than their own.
No, WoD has my interest perked and will be playing that for the summer and into the fall. At that point I'll see how well ESO and Wildstar are faring before even considering giving them any of my money. But that is if Pathfinder Online turns out to be an abyssmal flop along with EQN (which I really have no ideal when EQN is being released).
Pathfinder Online is imo a game that is really trying to bring back what an MMO should be, course that is a big if as companies have sang the same tune before but I like all their ideals and truly hope they deliver.
Then again ESO and WS are also big IFs since every P2P themepark MMO never ends well as they either go F2P or a B2P hybrid and really don't hold up to WoW.
Unfortunately I think that Wildstar is going to fall into the same trap as Firefall, where they generated so much hype for so long that I think that the game just couldn't live up to it. There was so much hype for Wildstar for so long, but have yet to announce an official release date. People can only stand listening to a game company talk about how great their game will be for so long before people start to just throw in the towel. I'm one of those people. I was ready and willing to purchase at launch, but since that time I've decided to pre-order ESO and WoD will probably, also, take precedence over Wildstar, unfortunately. I feel if they wait much longer, the crowd of diehards is going to soon turn restless as well.
I've played in a lot off MMO beta's over the last couple of years and my experience with Wildstar was I was actually having fun and enjoying the experience from the get go.
Not being told wait till level 15 or till you get to this zone or until you unlock this feature. Nope was enjoying from the start which is more than can be said for the last few beta's I have been in.
Will Pre Purchase as soon as I can will probably be the only MMO I buy into this year.
I had reasonably high hopes for this game, but unfortunately I will have to wait it out. I will leave it with a "I wish the game could improve a lot more than how it currently is" .
No. Even though i'm not a fan of the graphics, the ideas of interesting combat, the sense of humour and unique paths got me interested in enough to try it out in beta.
What i found just totally disappointed me. The combat was is the same terrible GCD-based crap as many other recent games. It reminded me most of SWTOR, only with an added dodge. GCD-based combat needs to crawl into a hole and die for years now. I don't believe a new game is actually it. Yuck.
The humour and "fun" atmosphere so prevalent in the promo videos didn't really translate into the game. In-game things were either TOO silly and shiny or too cliche. Most quests and things looked like they were written for twitter (All quests, now in 100 characters or less!)
The path system was pretty much a joke. I didn't know what to expect, but basically, it's the same stuff you get in all other games (like getting a discovery achievement for climbing the top of a hill), only in WS, it's turned into a quest. And instead of being able to find your own way to the top of that hill, there is now ONE AND ONLY ONE way to climb every hill, which is usually based on clicking a button which is clearly marked on your map.
Put that on top of the awful graphics and yeah, I didn't even want to finish playing the beta. Unless there is a major skill/combat revamp, this game is now officially off my list of "stuff to try".

I'm not following... Give me a hint.
As for the topic.. - That's a negative.
I think I'll pass... Fun game and all but I'm too old for a gear treadmill and the constant dodging/spell effects are doing my head in.
I'm looking forward to try ESO again and I'll make a decision then
Well I tried it out this weekend and will be passing myself.
Just didn't seem to catch my interest while playing.
Good luck you wildstar fans
As tragic as these things are, this was probably for the best. =/
Best wishes.
