We've got 1,000 keys to give away for this upcoming weekend's WildStar beta event, but since we expect them to go in the blink of an eye with a first come, first serve type giveaway, we'll be doing things a bit differently.
If you want a chance at scoring a key for this weekend's beta event, all you need to do is post in the comments below and tell us why you're excited to play in the beta. We'll keep the thread open until 4PM EST today and then select 1,000 winners entirely at random to win a key.
Keys will be sent out a short while after the thread is locked and the winning accounts will be posted in the thread comments.
NOTE: You will find it easier to post on this topic in our forums and not with the comments below. You can link to the forum topic right here.
Please keep in mind that submitting multiple submissions either on a single account or using multiple accounts will disqualify you from the giveaway.
I'm really interested in the Explorer path system and being rewarded for poking around and really discovering the game world; I hope I get a beta key to try this system out and everything else in the game!
If not, I always saw WildStar as a dark horse in the MMO field going under the radar while GW2 and others were hot on the hype train, being a game that finally doesn't take itself too seriously while still offering well-accepted MMO features and offering some new tricks to the table.
I'm excited for the game because it's an original IP with a sci-fi western setting, which means anything can be created to fit into the world and it doesn't have to be constrained by any pre-written lore or archetypal designs.
I have been dying for a beta key for ages. A friend of mine got a friend key from his sister, who got a full beta invite. Trying to be the better man, I congratulated him and wished him well. Then, what do I see but that he's logged into Steam playing f'ing MARVEL HEROES?!?! WTF?!!?! Now I would just like to try the game before his corpse is found and I'm carted off to prison.
I'm excited for Wildstar because I'm intrigued to see a new MMO with new ideas. I have tried them all and keep going back to WoW because none of the others are fresh or trying something different. You can never judge how much you will like a game without trying it yourself and that's why I would love a key.
I have been excited for Wildstar since i heard about it, still waiting for a invite to just confirm this game is awesome and also want that lvl10 mount for when it releases
I would love a beta key, because Wildstar is the first MMO in quite a while I have actually eagerly anticipated the release of. Also because I work in Gaming as a CSR and therefore need something to distract myself from the meanies that message my queue.
Wildstar looks like the first MMO in a long time that I can really be excited about. I'm looking forward to exploring the world of Nexus with my boyfriend. It looks even more fun because it doesn't take itself too seriously and what's the point of a game if not fun?
Pretty much everthing about this game im excited for. But if I have to choose its the combat. All the other mmos Ive played have had the same boring combat style which at some point you can just play the game with out paying attention and still be good at it. While in WIldstar its all about know whats going on around you and where your skills are going to land and how they are going to hit. It makes you focus more on the game because if you space out you get punished.

Just keep the trinity, though.
wildstar beta's right now are like only reason to have a computer for me right now!
Also everytime i play world of warcraft i find myself hitting the shift key to sprint and try to double jump..
I want to play WildStar because I'm fascinated by mmorpg, I play MMORPGs since childhood.
I just would like to win the key to be able to play another mmorpg I love so much.
