I wanted to be on record that i feel a sense of home in an mmo and from an unlikely source but it makes sense. Eldevin online. Now before you go leaving i started with runescape 1 i had a blast playing that game every one after felt a little more hollow... like its the same crap regurgitated over and over and handed back to me. Except for WoW cause it was a first.

I wanted to say hey to the eldevin community on here and see if we cant hook up. Here is my review of eldevin on another thread.

I personally love this game.

I glanced over it once thinking it wasn't for me boy was i wrong. Me and my mumble crew were looking for something together (since we came from FF14 and diablo 3 and WoW) i was feeling to get a classic kinda browser game to play. I suggested it and me and 2 others went for it.

It was nice reminded me of runescape so it felt nice and at home. Then the first quest i was thrusted into took me by surprise i loved the first quest (and i loved more to come). From there i entered the world learning to shoot a bow melee and magic the game really allows you to explore the diversity of the skills and attributes. The crafting IS WORK but i think that adds to the classic feel to it. I dont mind killing a lot to get mats and learning to craft new items its an open world that accepts that playstyle. you can quest then craft go to a random dungeon whatever.

The community IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN. Always up to help my first friend i met on here just started helping me outa the blue to skin animals. It is active for how small it is always conversation.

Already new content coming out. With new zones level item cap and more.

The questing is very smooth the story lines are flawless if you stop to read them and enjoy the experience. because it is slow not fast paced race to the finish and i love it. It takes time so you relax playing the game learning about the world and being a real part of it. the story is GREAT.

The combat i also like some people think its too fast i think its great with the AI they have. because you can pull other mobs easy etc. in closed quarters that can be doom so to quickly use my skills to fell my foe is how i like it. Theres a sense of danger.

It does have a cash shop, but its only vanity and potions which allow you to progress faster. so if you like faster play sub i might be end of this week. not that i need the exp boost or anything. You can also BUY GOLD, i do not know the implications of this on end game yet but thus far playing i make enough cash for myself and am doing great F2P.

Give this game a try you will be surprised i was. Then again my opinion I hope more people share theer experience and build on this potential it has. :)

These are the ones i love the most minimal effort, You can tell I am having fun my post says such. Your retort just allowed me to bump my thread tho. Everyone likes publix, winn dixie but sometimes the mom and pop stores give you what the others cant. Same with some small, handfull, developer backed games.

Give the game a try through the first quest. It may not be for you but atleast you tried. Atleast you supported a small game.

I agree, in fact, I think if everyone who ever played runescape saw this game, it would be millions on it in a heartbeat.    I'm shocked they don't advertise this game to runescape fans.

Some people might not like it because of how long it takes to mine and such, but the fact is, its only half the time runescape required of you in crafting,  I'm glad I can craft for days on end like the good old runescape days and not be max level, it keeps me occupied with my free time.

Can start or stop when ever you want to, and has all the features of a Dungeon Finder which is pretty great for this type of browser game.   Not for all, but I think old school runescape fans really really will enjoy this a lot just like you and your other friends have who played runescape in the day.

Im waiting for ESO but this game is so fun as a casual game like runescape was, I'll be subbing this game along side of it.

Browser based client still runs like crap on my machine. Once they have the stand-alone client ready to go, I'll give the game a serious look and try.

I started playing yesterday and the game looks really awesome, it has the Runescape feel but with a serious touch, I mean , Runescape is like playing a toon inside a cartoon fantasy world, Eldevin is a high fantasy setting with a very deep storyline and the quests are really enjoyable, they make sense and you are guided through the process so you are not going to stuck in a given moment. I think this game will develop and grow and soon will be among the best, it was just released and already had a new expansion I am excited about what the future will bring for it.

Really good game better than most established ones. Has a Runescape feel but I think its better to be fair Runescape was good in its day. Enjoying it lots worth a try if you have not tried it yet. I even spent some money supporting it as I played it for a few days and  thought it was worth some support. Its free so and takes mins to get up and running so IMO people give it a go.
