Soul Gem?

PalladinPalladin Member UncommonPosts: 430

You use soul magic to charge them.

It allows one to res self and others.

It can charge a weapon.

I have questions.

How many chargers does a soul gem have once charged?

What does charging a weapon do?

If you have a bow that does 30 points of damage and put an enchantment on it to do 6 points of fire damage (or it drops pre-enchanted that way) it'll do 36 points of damage in total.

But the enchantment charge wears off with use. When it wears off, you're back to doing just the base 30 points of damage.

Use a soul gem to recharge the enchantment and it goes back to doing 36.

Once charged you can use it once to either rez someone or recharge a weapon's enchantments.

weps get powerful enchantments that consume charges that u recharge with soul gems as well as they are used to self res or res another player.

These are very easy to get you can buy them in cryidil for very cheap alliance points and stock up very easily.

Charging the gem is a piece of cake. So get the empty gems 1st.

So instead of using arrows.... the bow is fueled with parts of peoples souls..

Actually i think these soulcharges are an awesome idea... they add another layer of depth.... tough i would love to see a more visual indicator of the charges in my UI... because i dont want to be opening my inventory every ten minutes to check on the charge of my weapon.

And its a good thing i camp these forums, otherwise i would have never found out about weapon charging

Would be nice. Give it as a reward to the player who ressed the most people in a campaign when the scoreboard resets every 90 days? :)

I somehow hoped they would add 2 or 3 extra inventory slots to the interface for artifacts...

Well, maybe they will introduce artifacts like this over time
