Couple of questions

MykellMykell Member UncommonPosts: 780

1) I see you can morph skills down 2 paths. Is this a permanent choice or if i respec can i choose the other option?

2) The nightblade ability Shadowy Disguise grants invisibility and increased crit chance. Is this for weapons skills only or abilities / spells as well?

3) Can you crit ultimates like say the mage's guild Meteor spell?

4) I read that every time you research a trait it doubles the time taken. So it basically takes 63 days to research all the traits for say heavy armor chest piece (without points in passives) and i need to research those same 8 traits for every individual piece of armor (so a total of 7).

That's 441 days and then probably a similar time to to do all the weapons. I see passives where you can research 2 at a time and get a 20% reduction in time taken but it will still probably take close to a year to max it all out. Is this right or am i missing something?

That's about all i can think so atm. Cheers.

You can respec anything including the morphs

+ Crit with anything... weapon attacks or abilities (spells)

    Yes.

Yup... your math is right. It seems like they want specialist crafters

    Cheers.

Looks like my plan to max out multiple crafts is not going to happen lol. I am over playing multiple crafting alts as you spend too much time having to relog to set them all up. In SWTOR by the time i was 50 it was taking me nearly an hour to shop on the AH, see what sold and what needed making, sending companions out on missions for whatever i needed, mailing stuff between alts etc.

No way am i doing that again.

If you wanted to make cash you should have botted space missions like the smart people.

And so it will be in ESO.  A lot of people trying to be all things to all men by crafting too widely and

The smart players will just buy the stuff they make or specialise narrowly.

If you think the crafting time is a lot, play eve online for awhile, you'll feel better about it then ;-)

My guess is they wanted all the crafters in a guild to feel useful. 12 craftsman (4 for blacksmithing, clothing, woodworking respectively) can kit out every member of their guild in all armor and weapons with any trait they want within the first 12 days after launch. At the same time having anyone not crafting, gathering what they come across and funneling it to guild crafters.

An organized guild at launch can gain a significant edge over individual players and casual guilds.

Well when i quit TOR i had nearly 30 million credits so i'm not sure how many space missions i'd have to run to get that.
