I bought this game when it was on sale, and I am enjoying it a lot.
One thing that kind of irks me about it though, is the number of gold spammers that are present. From me leveling my PUG to 30, I have more then 200 out of 300 blacklist spots used. Is there some way to address the large number of spammers, because when I get on and play for a couple hours, I usually block at least 5.

To my knowledge, the only thing we have is the right-click and block approach.
Someone in my FC is at the point of having to go back and delete the oldest 20 or so from their list from time to time, just to keep spots open.
Now, if only there were a way to reliably and fairly identify and report the people buying the gil and, hence, giving the botters a market to be there for in the first place... I think that would help a lot. No market, no demand, no reason for them to be there. At the very least, the degree of it would lessen.
But, so long as there are people who insist on buying their way through a game instead of playing it, RMT will continue to have a reason to be there, and the rest of us will have to deal with their spam.
In the meantime, just keep your account info safe, and get a security token if you don't have one (I strongly recommend them). Some of the even less savory RMT companies resort to hacking tactics to do their business. So.. gotta keep them at bay as well.
Sucks to have to deal with that crap... but what are ya gonna do? :-/
