Yep. We aren’t even live yet and I’m already looking ahead to what’s next for The Elder Scrolls Online. That’s not to say that I feel the game is deficient in launch features, but half the excitement of playing a new MMO is pondering about where it will go next. I’ve got a couple of things I’d like to see, so let’s jump into it.

100% agree on everything
what i really would like to add is:
spears (in combination with shields) and unarmed weaponlines.... this would give another defensive and another offensive weapon lines
necromancy skill line - this one i think a lot of people are waiting for
potentially more staff skill lines - looking at illusion and alteration here
dawnguard faction - yes im aware, the fighters guild does kinda shoot into that direction, still i think it would be a nice addition
All of these within the next 14 Days please
Na, honestly, well written and these wishes may become true at some point. At least for "DarknessFalls" we know that will happen.
But i think for now, the Release, let them get started first. Give them some time. Not to much ofc.
I wish we had Sunday already. Damned.

I had my own idea for the Dark Brotherhood. I think killing NPCs only would be very limited for them. This idea could expand on PvP and add unique endgame content.

if only all animations ingame were done with real human motion capture this would have been a 10/10 mmo.
I hope Zenimax might actualy does this /dream
But spot on so far with people post launch wishlists
After lotro, I'm kinda over mounted combat
Justice (stealing/murder, etc.) is the the most desired gameplay element i'd like to see. It's somethign that's a huge part of the ES experience and these things have so rarely been done well (or at all!) in an MMO, that I'm just giddy thinking about it.
Justice would be so awesome in an MMO setting when you can't just reload a savegame after failing and are supposed to actually deal with the reputation consequences.

I'd like to see an Animal Husbandry skill line that could develop into a whole horse breeding mini-game or used for varied mounts and/or racing events.
A Treasure Hunter skill line would also be cool. Something that expounds upon the treasure maps they already have into something much more in depth.
Advanced skill lines that require 2 or more basic skill lines to unlock.
Expand the lock-picking mini-game to the point it's viable trade.
Faction change EPIC quest lines.
A life time sub.
1. Lifetime Subscription Option.
2. Imperial City, much like what MikeB suggested.
3. Thieves Guild + Pick-pocketing, Stealing, lock-picking (upgradable), speechcraft (bargaining)
4. Dark Brotherhood + Assassination Targets

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.
Some of these points should have been in the launch version of a 2014 title.
Instead of what you wish for, this article should be about "what is Zenimax' excuse to not have these classic features in a ESO game at all?" But then, we all know that "journalism" on this site doesnt work like that.
My prediction: 8.5+ review incoming.
Unarmed and Unarmored FOR SURE!!! why did they take it out in skyrim dangit. Also the justice system that someone suggested a couple posts up. How the heck is there no stealing and going to jail....
- UO style champion spawns
- Housing
- New pve/pvp zones for veteran combat where you can kill enemy alliance members and you can take over hamlets that have exclusive resource nodes
- Dyes
- Ingame party based voice chat (as per Lotro)
- and yes, bounties on goldsellers, and also bounties on anyone that the mods decide are absolute douchebags on zone chat
----------
Having said all that, I'm still happy with the game as is.
Playing: Darkfall New Dawn (and planning to play Fallout 76)
Favourite games have included: UO, Lineage2, Darkfall, Lotro, Baldur's Gate, SSX, FF7 and yes the original Wizardry on an Apple IIe
No npc companions for me.
Companions in mmorpgs are real people.
There was a good forum post on this here:
http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/408658
I would add to that list:
- A Complete Justice system- stealing, pickpocketing, jailing, bounties, etc.
- A Dueling Arena!
- Minigames / random events (other than dark anchors & fissures).
- Underwater content
This was already answered.
"after launch". Though it's unclear what penalties you will incur if you get caught.
Post Launch
We have pretty aggressive post launch schedule. Imperial city is under siege and we will be involving the story of the Imperial city post launch. We will also be introducing the justice system. Right now you can steal thing from the table and nobody is going really stop you. Justice system will affect all theft mechanics. We will also be introducing Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood with new story and quest lines.

NPC companions like SWTOR. I love NPC companions who have their own personality, who provide missions and content and who I can send off to do some stuff for me.
Other players in mmorpgs are mostly trade partners, PvP allies or opponents, or dungeon runners (unless they are IRL friends). NPC companions are really fun game mechanic to bring life into "soloing" and bring immersion.
Even in roleplaying environment real players rarely can provide immersion with their stupid out of line godmoding, barely understandable sentences or just general selfishness and asshattery. NPC companions simply are a lot better company than your average random player in a mmorpg.
The big problem with Warhammer Online wasn't that you were locked out of something you usually owned, it was that they cut the number of capital cities they had planned to one for each side, so you had none and server imbalance was extremely high so you had a chance of having no captitals often until you moved servers.
