game sounds a lot like old school DOAC and EQ than anything else

exploration, non instanced open world grouping, promoting grouping, all people swarming one enemy...etc..

Not even close to EQ in terms of PVE and only little similarity it has with DAOC comes through 3 side alliance battles.
I suggest accept the game for what it is or you will be disappointed if you think its anything like EQ.
