I pvp'ed like crazy in the beta, right now I am leveling up first. Since it "for real for real" time, I've been trying to make a solid character first. PvP appears to be very busy though.
Unless you find "crafty" ways to level, most wont be 50 for a couple weeks. Wait until the level 50+ population gets higher, you will see tons of videos and stories at that point. (I'd be willing to bet at least)
Just browse Twitch and see for yourself. I think you will see pvp is very chaotic and a zerg festival. If that's what you like it may be that you think the pvp is great. Personally it's not for me, I like having a larger impact focused on my personal skill level.
A large number of players did not get to level 10 in day one so PVP was light the first day of the headstart. If you want a balanced and active server, come to Wabbajack. Last night hundreds of players from all three factions waged war into the early morning.

There's a big amount of players twitching the PvP atm.
Im torn between what I should do. I want to PvP when I reach 10, but I also want to get some levels lol. And XP should be very bad in ESO.
Maybe some hours (PvE) leveling, and then some hours PvP fun in the future. Also, I think the PvP is rough without any mount (yes I did not buy the overpriced Imperial Mount).

Mmm sounds like a p2p gw2
Not even close. Take a look at the zone map for Cyrodil and do some reading. Much larger and way more fluid. Plenty of gank groups and solo pvpers to run into as well.
The big reason is if you don't just AOE Grind mobs and play the game the way it is made then most people are slowly hitting level 10 now. Majority of people are well under level 10.

The Map is almost too large... I've never walked so much to get to the action in any mmo
Also there's gank groups and solo pvpers in GW2 too.

srsly? A bit more effort!
Oh let me guess cause I must be trolling cause I didn't blindly praise the game a hurr derp
No cause´ you are not able to form a true and constructive argument and you obviously do not know the difference of correlation and causation. Your conclusion under your premise is just not right. It´s a discussion forum so bring arguments which can be discussed.
And to prove you wrong:
there are streams, there are other forums, there are youtube videos.
So i´m assuming you have a lack of education and don´t know the meaning of discussions or you´re trolling. I hope for the latter.
If you want to PVP join an organized AVA Guild and you will have a totally different experienced compared to just running around in a ZERG. The first time you are in a small group of 20 and you smash a ZERG twice the size you will realize what you have been missing. If you like ZERGING just join a PUG group and ZERG.
The PVP in ESO is completely different to GW2 as the map is massive allowing for all types of PVP from one on one / small skirmishes to massive battles. Anyone who says AVA is just a zerg fest is someone who has never played it how it is meant to be played ie, in organized, well prepared groups.

You're right only some would argue the pvp is better than Gw2.
ESO seems to have an identity crisis attached to it and they seem to have disregarded competition.
Gw2 is a buy to play competitor to pvp lovers. Skyrim is buy to play for pve competition. I say if you're playing for pve you're getting hosed, Skyrim is a better experience. I can't say the same for pvp. Gw2 vs eso pvp, ESO's pvp may be good enough to justify the monthly cost for 3 faction pvp lovers. Where else are you going to get near that experience outside of Gw2 in a game developed in the past 5 years?

Problem is people are basing "too large" on beta most peoples first chance to check out the game, the nature of cyrodil is bound to change as the game progresses, especially as more and more people reach levels they feel they can compete at. Many don't believe the bolstering systems these games use are done well enough to actually have much fun in PVP. I don't think what we saw during beta is representative of how people will spread out as they get deeper into the games AVA.

Which is a pretty good call. I want to jump in too, but I don't want a campaign that I have to wait forever to queue into, and I don't want a dead one either. I suspect launch day we'll see which ones are happening, and which are not.

You can zerg if you want. But my friend and I roamed the country side last night flipping smaller objectives and ganking stragglers and small groups. Had a blast.

That's only because people are idiots who don't know what tactics are. Also, there are more solo oriented quests such as ones which involve recon rather than fighting.
Its a zerg fest when the zones not crashing or being rolled back. And its so much fun running around getting to the objectives I cant contain the joy. Oh something killed me? whats was it... oh wait no combat log or any other standard mmo interface stuff. Not to mention the lovely 150ms+ ping for eu people because apparently their servers are magic and internet latency doesnt effect them.
Have been loving every minute of PvP. Have not left Cyrodiil since I got level 10. Dunno about others, but there are several full campaigns going on at the moment and plenty of action, both small scale and large scale.
It's literally the most fun I have had since DAoC.

I'd say it's more the nature of the question as;
A: There's plenty of people streaming the PVP
B: It's just head start
C: There have been plenty of people praising the PVP since NDA has been lifted, for many it's the game's only redeeming quality.

ZERGS are just cannon fodder to a good AVA guild.

When you say small group in MMORPG's the number 20 never follows. A small group in these games is 3. You are zerging dude.
