Its very normal for new released mmorpg, too much players trying to join game,download or update their clients.just close your launcher and try again until its starts to download

*Note: i never had problem like that, ever i play the game from east Europe (you know all EU, US megaservers located in NA for now)

Yeah I am boyo.

  I've been buying, downloading, and playing mmo's on their launch day/weekends since Everquest 1 and haven't had a download this slow ever.  Even god damn Vanguard downloaded faster than this and that game was like a billion gigs and was completely broken in every way.  Hell even both Darkfall's downloaded faster.  I have a fantastic internet speed so this never happens.

 

Now that it has, yeah I'm a little peeved.  Especially since I started it at 3am thinking doing it this early/late would help.

Yeah with all the DLC's and I have like 900 mods.  I've beaten it to death and have played a ton of alts with different skill paths and choices.  So I decided to give the ol' TESO a run even though I beta tested it and said I wouldn't buy it.

Well, I feel your pain. Been there before. It's worth the wait, though. At least in my opinion. I'm having a blast with it. No, its not anything revolutionary or new. To me its just damned good fun.

Customer Support are great.  They haven't actually fixed anything but they're super fast to respond.  Im dealing with a chap called Wilson, I've just told him that I imagine I am stuck on an ESOless desert island with only him for company.  He isn't a football though...at least I don't think so.

 

3mbs...man Id kill for 3 mbs, or even 1.

Yeah I know it isn't he second coming or anything but after beating SWTOR to death and getting bored of Smite I figured "eh, why the hell not?"

After some thinking I decided myself that I will buy it but in august. First of all have my friends who tried it talked about bugs and that is hardly a surprise in a MMO so waiting will most likely save me some annoyance.

Secondly I plan to actually have a great none gaming summer this year with festivals, music and beer. Knowing myself that would be impossible if I like the game enough.

But do post us a review when you played it a bit, always nice to see what people think about the game.

Actually i only dropped EQ in response to a guy who at first came off hostile towards me and made it seem like i was new to this whole process.  EQ was to show that no I am not new to the whole cycle of rough launches.  Then we both laughed about it and are now friends.

Whenever I eventually get in I'll play for the 30 days. I'll try to stick to one character and I'll let you all know how it went.
