I take it we won't be getting those races then? Are they removed from the game completely, or just not ready yet? I was really hoping to play a dwarf
They are not in game yet. They were planned for expansions along with new continents in game. No idea if they are still planned or what's going on with them.

XL has been keeping the new races close to their chest - I think after NA/EU launch they will probably announce the launch of new races - just my guess.
It seems that each regional launch has been taking a bunch of XL dev's time (due to having to customize each region with varying rules).
So to answer clearly - none of the new races are available yet - not in Korea, nor any other region.
That makes sense. Probably better to focus on getting the game launched, then worry about the new races later.

Hm. Guess we can expect lots of "OMG this stuff should have been in at launch. This game is an unfinished pile of crap cash grab because it has plans for future content instead of being 100% complete at launch and never updated again!" nerdrage. Or is AA somehow immune to that and only other games held to those standards?

So wrong, Russians will always get it befor NA/EU - because they need less time to localize.
And if you think NA/EU will be more succeassfull think again, NA/EU has mostly carebears players, where Russians consist of mostly PvP oriented players.
On top of that Trion closed down it's Europe branch, so not much support for French and German players, and with out Russian players taking part in EU version, it will shrink very fast after Hype is over.

Yes loc time will be faster for other regions - but again XL drives that ship, and IMO they will prioritize NA/EU for content patches.

The money potential XL gets from NA/EU is much higher than Russia because the game is more expensive in NA/EU and those players have more disposable income than your average russian player.

Do you know what EU branch did for Trion - marketing/publishing. The support for French/German players was NEVER done out of that office. There were zero CS members for germany/france present there - it was all marketing folks.
